Anything with glorious type, like The Little Paris Bookshop cover, although some of the classic redesigns are lovely. I have a couple of the puffin clothbounds, and the puffin in bloom series is amazing. The A Darker Shade of Magic series has some cool covers too. I collect books, especially pretty covered books so I could probably name even more. Ofc the Harry Potter series as well just for pure nostalgia, the original covers although some of the new redesigns are gorgeous.

Unfortunately it was one of those books where I bought because of the cover and never read the blurb, thinking I'd love it if it was about a bookshop. I didn't really enjoy it, took me forever to try and get through it :( but it looks pretty on my shelves now I've read it!

for sure! someone i went to school with used to buy books with covers that she likes and then rip the covers off and stick them on her wall, and then throwing the inside of the book away. i don't understand why she didn't just print off the covers from the internet??? that's an awful way to treat a book :(

How could you do that to a book :( plus that's rather expensive for what could be a cheap print off (even if you did it professionally at a printers to make it nice)

god knows. from what i gathered they didn't care. i get annoyed when people fold the pages of books instead of using a bookmark so i was horrified when i saw it hahaha

yeah, i saw the show first but theres like a 2 month wait until the final season so within the 2 months im trying to read all 18 books.

that isn't gonna happen given the show starts back in april but im currently on book 6/13.

btw, I kind of have a collection of bookmarks, filled with propaganda telling about the about-to-come books, they always, literally, donate them on the reception desk at the library here and, god, it's free, obviously! not that i ever will read the books the 'propagandas' are telling me to read but since it has the ability of remembering where you stopped, it's more than perfect

i only have one bookmark and it's one my sister bought me when i started reading in primary school. i still use it now since i've never felt the need to buy a new one when i already have one (and i'm not lucky enough to get these free things like you are!)

I like the Tiger Curse serise book covers. It was one reason why I was drawn to the book in addition to the story.

I really like the Vintage International editions of Haruki Murakami books. They often play with symmetry and have this grainy feel to them. After Dark and Hardboiled Wonderland and the End of the World are probably my favourites.

I also really like the boxed set edition of 1Q84. All three volumes align very satisfyingly and it comes in a nice clear case. I also prefer having three books, as opposed to the first and second books being compiled into one volume like in the normal edition.
