Because it kinda provides a way to transmit an abstract message which even the spoken word can't provide - It provokes you, makes you imagine stuff, may change your concept about anything and makes you happy for a while
Use it wisley
thanks
tbh just as background noise half the time

I like to listen to music for it not to be so quiet, if I'm not watching TV I'll be listening to music. I like to have it on when I'm in the shower, cleaning or driving. Also, if a band has a new album out I'll listen to music jus for that!

I also sometimes listen to music to block out the world haha
I listen to music for a few reasons.
I enjoy clearing out what's around me, and just be alone.
Secondly, it's better than the radio while I'm driving.

90% of the time, background noise. Sometimes to relax before bed.

Normally, I'll listen to music to release tension. If it's not for that reason, then I just do it because it puts me in a good mood.

I don't think you need music to zone out, you do that all too well yourself! :D
