annoying bans

since tonight i got banned for playing isolation and saying i was (number) 5 and resulted in an automated ban i thought it would be a good thread!

what is the silliest thing you've been banned for?

I've only been banned once I think and it was for advertising habbox comps

I remember when lots of people were being banned because they were advertising habbox. I think this was just after the merge and Habbo wasnt really taking notice of any of the fansites.

ye there was a point where people reported event hosts when they advertised just to watch them get muted/banned

It happens even now, like yesterday I got muted because I was telling this girl that she had to sign up to habbox.com & habboxforum.com to become a DJ. I think there's still so many people out there that don't even know anything about fansites even though fansites are I thought were very well known around habbo.

ye you have to rly try to be careful with your wording to allow you to say it, i try and not use .com or anything and it helps. sadly, habbo aren't able to remove it from the filter for our fansites after we have asked loads :(

See, I didn't even think it'd be an issue because I've used .com loads before and it's never been an issue. I bet the girl just reported me :(

I've never been muted/banned when saying .com at the end, I usually just say habboxforum and habbox site or just habbox and it's fine
