I think it does kinda depend on whos coming around like I'd usually cook something quickly or make sure I have snacks/milk for tea if its someone like a best friend

if i'm hosting a predrinks or doing a BBQ then i do like everything to be perfect and show off yeah

Massive vacuuming, 99% of the (visible) dirt is concentrated all around the omnipresent carpet

My house is lived in, if I have plates in the sink, toys on the floor (Kids toys, don't get rude) or clothes drying on the rack then it's because I damn well live here and I'm not going to bash out 4 hours of cleaning in 30 minutes to indirectly tell my friends I am Mr perfect
