What instantly ruins a movie for you, if at all?
I would say a book that I read is now the movie and the storyline has no relevance to the book whatsoever.

An actor that in other movies is the opposite of what he is portraying in this.

Terrible acting, camera work and storylines. It's hard to watch a movie knowing you could do a better job with a better storyline.

Movies that hire actors/actresses that do not fit into the atmosphere of storyline of the movie...

When there's a shit ending, for example when they leave those cliff hangers but don't even have any plans to have any other films to come out so you'll literally never know what actually happened. Seen films like that recently!
