I haven't experienced an earthquake with a magnitude to shake tremendously, but enough to be notified and such. I believe I was at school at that time.

Nope, although I've experienced tremors twice when there was an earthquake elsewhere and we got minor tremors. It's a weird feeling everything suddenly start shaking but nothing major happened in our area, and it was over quickly.

Are earthquakes an issue in the UK? In the US, most of our earthquakes where I live are due to hydraulic fracturing. AKA fracking.

Not really. We've had one or two but they weren't ever really that bad and they mainly hit the big cities.

I dont even remember any issues og earthquakes in the UK so if we've had any it must of been long before I was born.

Where were they located? Are you by any chance along a fault?

Yeah I live in Wellington, New Zealand so we had the major 7.8 November last year, the entire of NZ is just chilling on a fault line we get so many. I literally thought I was going to die our house at the time shaked when people walk around it so imagine that in a 7.8! As of January we've had 32k earthquakes since that November one so I have no idea how many that's at now.
