How often do you wash your hair?

So, my Dad has always told me to wash my hair every day, no matter what.
It's sooo easy with his short hair that takes like 5 minutes to dry. Whereas I like my hair longer and takes longer to dry, annoys the hell of out of me because I usually take a shower right before bed :P

How often do you wash your hair? Once a week at least, whenever I feel like it.
