I personally think at around 65 - 68 is what the normal age is to retire although some people sometimes go over that because they love to work.

I'll probably work until I die, life would be boring otherwise.

I should have retired long ago then!

In Canada, the retirement pension doesn't kick in until 65, but knowing me, I'll probably work until I'm at least 70. lol.

think it depends on the person and job!

some jobs are more stressful than others, and I feel like it's only you who should decide the retirement age for yourself

I hope to stay in my hopeful career for as long as possible but who knows

With the career you're in now that doesn't surprise me, but at least you're sticking at it. You should be proud! :)

65ish is when my grandma retired. Seems to be working well for her!

That's what grandpa wanted to do. Do some side-hand work for his old place.

Yeah my dad has some health problems so he wanted to take a break.

Probably never with the way things are going.

Edit: I read this wrong, I thought it said what age do I think i'll retire. A decent retirement age would be about 60 I think.

They say that here in the US, social security is going to run out

60 is a good age although I guess it depends on the job.

Ideally, 60. Realistically, 72.

I'd say roughly 65-70. At least then you've got plenty of time to enjoy yourself and retire happily, rather than retire too late and not have the chance.
