Whats the worst thing thats happened to you on holiday?

When I was on holiday in Cornwall about 15 - 20 years ago, I leaned against the counter in a pasty shop, completely missing the sign which said 'BOILING HOT - DO NOT TOUCH'. I burnt away my palm and the local pharmacy was closed for lunch, so I had to sit with my hand in a dog's water bowl until they arrived back.

Fell off of a camel in Lanzarote and broke my fingers.

playing hide and seek, found a bushy area behind some tables. sat down. FELL DOWN A FUCKING TREE. emerged to an audience of people by hthe pool wondering what the fuck just happened. ran away with a sandal missing.

Went on and 8 day holiday to London. It rained 7 out of the 8 days I was there. :( By rain i mean pouring down.

Had a blazing row with my mum which lasted a good few days. Was silly really but it spoilt it a bit.

Last time I was there they had a "heatwave" - 5 days or so in a row where it hit 30 degrees. Pretty funny coming from a city where you hit 40+ at least once a year

My worst was easily ending up in hospital after drinking too much with @pyroka (@ryan maybe). Wasn't enjoyable and all I remember is heading to his dorm room and him playing Habbz and then we went to other people and played ring of fire in which it must've been rigged. Got fudged up and woke up in hospital.

Worst one was when I was in Turkey and the coup happened. And at like 2am all you hear are jets flying above the hotel.

Nothing bad has really happened to me on holiday that I can remember! I remember struggling to get back home once during the floods back in 2007 though and ending up having to stay an extra night in a random hotel. By this point I was very tired and just wanted to go home!

I don't think anything major has happened, mainly just arguments due to the heat/being stuck together for 3 weeks, being caught in rain/thunderstorms at theme parks.
