Hi all!
There are lots of rumors going on on Social Media about Automatic Moderation.
HabboInHabbo tried to help us a little bit:

Also @Puhekupla_Staff, a Habbo Staff Updates Twitter is posting a lot of updates about it.
Meanwhile, Adaara (Habbo.it) - MsAnita (Habbo.nl) and Sefos (Habbo.es) confirmed that the moderation is going to be automatic.
What do you guys think?
Absently

I thought it was an April fools joke but now I'm not so sure.. with moderators people already get banned for very silly things so I can't imagine what it will be like..

I'm sure at least 50% of moderation is automatic now anyway! They use filters and then when someones reported it filters through their chatlog too so automatically bans them
Then you've got the customer service people who are mods on the hotel too I reckon
Wouldn't surprise me as Habbo doesn't get a lot of profit anymore they're probably struggling with keeping staff

Feel like they definitely need some for appeals, but I'm genuinely thinking Habbo's going to be closing soon!

It probably won't be closing any time soon as they are making too much money.

Idk didn't this all start happening 3 days before April Fools? I'd be very surprised if it were a joke :S
If it is true, based on the official twitter account and the new help.habbo.com page, there are now absolutely no MODs at all? What???
Does that mean Ambassadors are really the people with the only ability to manually do something...

I'm not sure what I think of it, I imagine it won't start off well but most things have teething issues to start with unless something similar is already in effect than nothing has changed really. I can't see this being the end of habbo though, there seems to be plenty of people still on there and as long as there is an interest, they'll be around.

If all moderators are now going I imagine that's one of the last cutbacks they can possibly muster. Virtually all staff went a few years ago, they recently downgraded their HQ in Britain and now this. When they next need to cutback... what can they possibly cut?

I'm pretty sure they already do people say certain words and they get banned straight away. I don't think they even really check which is why people get banned for such stupid reasons.

It won't all be auto, they need to keep some staff just incase anything goes wrong or if someone appeals a ban, computers can't deal with that (just yet). It might be like half or 3/4 of the staff go, but I don't think all of them will.

The problem is that most of the time they don't actually read what conversations are about before banning someone, they just look at certain words and ban you based on words then it's like ban straight away then when you appeal it, they either take very long to reply back or they say things like we feel your habbo deserves a second chance, well if you knew what the conversation was about then perhaps you wouldnt need to keep replying to loads of different appeals!

I reckon the community staff (waltz/other community coordinators) will be managing the auto moderatio on their hotel if it does come to it. Then I think they'd have a handful of staff to work as customer services on the help websites, especially sice that job is p much automatic itself (the replies for an appeal are not written by the staff, they just click a button and it sends a reply)
Community staff will 100% stay as they need to manage fansites/bundles/events/ambassadors etc. MODs going as a cutback doesn't seem too bad

Becuase of auto-moderation, all the hotels that ended up having opening/closing times are now open 24/7 - so .NL/DE/FR/IT/FI/TR
E.g. Habbo.de has this:
24 STUNDEN ZUGANG ZU HABBO
[center]Ab heute wird unseres Hotel 24 Stunden, sieben Tage die Woche geöffnet sein. Das heisst, mehr Zeit mit deinen Freunden zu chatten, mehr Zeit beeindruckende Räume zu bauen UND mehr Zeit ein Vermögen in Habbo zu machen!
Habbo.de
24 Hour Access to Habbo
From today our hotel will be open 24 hours a day, seven days a week. That means more time to chat with your friends, to build awesome rooms AND more time to make a fortune in Habbo!

Customer Support are now no longer dealing with tradelocks, mutes or bans apparently. A bot closes the request with a default message:

I'd love to know what Sulake are actually doing.
Let the unnecessary bans commence.
It probably won't be closing any time soon as they are making too much money.
What makes you think they are making too much money?

I wouldn't say they were rolling in the money....

If the automatic moderation takes control of the hotel replacing the moderators then it'll just be bad in my opinion. Freedom of speech will go away in private rooms too if the automatic moderation system reaches there too.
