What story did your parents tell you to scare you into behaving?

It's Easter time, and my friends were talking about this.
Sometimes some parents when they are at a carnival or something and there's a little train ride, and the parents go and say look, he's looking at you (pointing to the worker controlling the ride) you better behave or he'll throw you out. Drives me insane!

What story did your parents tell you to scare you into behaving?

For me, nothing too major as I was well behaved anyway :D
but if I made faces, my dad would say: “Someday your face will freeze like that!” :P:rolleyes:

Usually if we misbehaved my parents used to pretend to call the police then when you could hear a police car going past the house they'd say they are coming to take us away. It was all rather mean but it worked haha!

not really scaring into behaving, but to not eating chewing gum my mother said it was made from rats tails

my mam would tell me that she was gonna drop me off at a children's home or she'd say that the "bad man" was gonna come and take me away if i don't behave lmao

My parents would sometimes say someone would come and take me away if I don't behave, but otherwise I can't really remember much.

My parents said they would lock me away if I ever took the piss too much which I thought was hilarious

funniest bit was when they actually did it to me and I had to sleep locked in their wardrobe
