Around a 60/40 split between him and Marine Le Pen suggest exit polls.

Liberals and the establishment will celebrate tonight of course, forgetting that the Front National got around 40% of the vote wiping out the Socialist Party in its heartlands. For what was a fringe party, that is huge growth in just a few years.
Another few years of Islamic terror followed by candlelit vigils, tricolor Facebook filters and singing John Lennon's Imagine around the piano and the French will come round But for now, it's wonderboy Emmanuel Macron as President.
Thoughts?

So after the short-lived Trump hype, they've progressed to losing the Austrian presidential election, failing to make any ground in the Dutch election, losing the French presidential election, and most likely looking to make very little impact in the German election.
And yet the far-right still somehow think they're doing well.

But we are doing well hence why the liberal elite are so jubilant at this win and we're not downbeat in the slightest.
To score 46% in the Austrian election from nowhere and to score 37% in the French Presidential election up from 17% in 2012 is a huge stride forward. We're virtually on the doorstep of power in France + Austria and in power in Britain and America.
It took Ukip 7 years from their breakthrough in 2009 to achieve their goal. These things don't happen overnight.

11 million French voted for Le Pen to be President. See you again in 2022.

Personally I don't like either of the finalists, it was a fight between Farage with boobs and the political lovechild of Trump and Blair, so either way France loses

By a former Government Minister with virtually all of the collapsing Socialist Party establishment+activists moving over to him.

Who cares if there's more integration with the eu, it's obviously what the people wanted if they voted him knowing he's fully behind the eu.
