I don't really bother with voicemails. If I can't get through to somebody, I would rather text them. I hate receiving voicemails, because it almost always means I have to ring the person back. I actually turned them off in the end.

I've had to leave so many since I moved in it's really frustrating cos I used to hate them. I just try and practice what I'm saying beforehand and know what I mean :(

Always bad though but I reckon everyone's awful at leaving voicemails it's cool

I hardly ever ring people so I don't leave voice mails. If I can't get through then I'll either text them or try again later. I hate receiving them too, it's annoying have to listen to whatever it is, then delete it, etc. Just text me instead or try again later.

i never leave them, i rather just keep calling people until they pick up :) same when it comes to working, uni etc!!

i just changed my voicemail today to make it more professional because my last one was just LEAVE A MESSAGE BYE!! and ive just applied for loads of "serious" jobs for when i graduate so i need a nice voicemail because im useless at ever hearing my phone

Noo never. I tend to lose what I was going to stay half way through it and go off topic or I feel really awkward. I feel like I'm disturbing them like if I phone someone and they don't answer surely that means they are busy and can't answer, I don't want to be annoying :(.

Noooo! I avoid calling as much as possible but if I have to and they don't pick up I either just email or text the person after depending if it's work/personal related. Or try calling back a half hour or so later.

idk how some of you manage to, i can never i just freeze after the bleep and hang up lol

it also annoys me when people leave voicemails just to say smth like "hi i've phoned" but don't say what they want cos it means i have to call them back instead of just texting them what they need :(

yeah only summarising what i was going to say anyway and asking to call me back. although sometimes i hang up too soon on certain phone providers so the message doesnt save anyway

I've had to a couple of times (mainly when I used to work), but I absolutely hate doing it! Just the thought that someone will play it back and you only really get one chance at what you want to say is pretty scary! I don't like talking on the phone at the best of times though!

Uh, they make me anxious.

I never like sending them, and I do not like recieving them.

I always feel like if I recieve a voicemail, I should respond with a voicemail.

I also hate how people are so lazy and use voicemails instead of typing a (short) sentence.

Just takes up memory in the form of cache and seems annoying, specially I hate it when there is a heavy wind blowing.
