Love Island started last night. I haven't watched it before but my girlfriend is making me watch it with her and I can see myself getting sucked into the drama.

Marcel is annoying with his whole "I was in Blazin' Squad" line. Jess is my favourite so far, not sure what to think of the others.

I used to watch it with my girlfriend and it was really fun while drinking because there's so much drama and you get really invested in certain people. Watched the first episode last night but it's not the same alone — definitely one of those shows made better with company. Marcel was totally expecting to come in and tear it up, though. Was funny seeing him struggle.

Yeah, I think Marcel had better expectations, it's sad to see him not really get anyone but hopefully they'll bring more girls in and he'll have better luck. Now there has been a few more episodes, I'm starting to hate some people. Kem annoys me, the whole "I'm innocent, I've only slept with 28 girls" thing in response to Amber sleeping with two guys in one night annoyed me and then last night, when he was asking Sam if he'd slept with whoever he is coupling with, just the way he was saying it all annoyed me. Montana is way too clingy also, it'd been a day and she was acting like her and Dom were married. Everyone else is alright think Jess is my favourite so far.

It was great last night when that girl was explaining her job in bomb disposal, and that other girl just asks, "do you go around killing people?" I expect nothing less from Love Island. Don't know about favourites yet, but bomb girl and Montana have left the biggest impression on me. Kem reminds me slightly of Nathan from last series.

Drama went down last night and Camilla is becoming corrupted. Out of the new girls, I feel like Tyne-Lexi will stick around for a while. The structure has been very much the same thus far; was hoping they would change things up a little this series.

Camilla is becoming a favourite, I just hope she doesn't get sucked into the silly drama. Chris is the absolutely worst, thinking that everyone fancies him. I have a feeling all this rubbish he is saying will come back to bite him and he'd go for anyone if they told him they fancied him. Tyne-Lexy does seem the best out of the two new ones, although I do hope Gabbie and Marcel work out cause I feel bad that Marcel hasn't really generally coupled with anyone yet! I'm just hoping we have some more drama or something, it's all too calm at the moment and no-one seems to really be clicking.

Olivia is a nasty piece of work. Chris is a dick, but she's toxic. They deserve each other. I forgot the two new girls were even there tonight — don't remember them being mentioned even once. I feel pretty bad for Marcel, too. It was funny when nobody stepped forward for him, but he seems like one of the most decent people in the villa. I'm liking Montana and Sam at the moment.

They most definitely deserve each other. She should have gone to Sam first rather than telling everyone she is going to ditch him cause she fancies Chris, he was like the last person to know so it doesn't surprise me that he thinks something was going off behind his back. They need to realise they are all living together, so things need to be said to the person first before everyone else to avoid this drama.

I'm really hoping that Marcel gets someone, if they bring some new girls in. He is so lovely and seems to be there for everyone in the house so it'd be nice for him to find someone while he is there. I'm not surprised that Dom and Jess hooked up last night, I was surprised that Amber and Kem did though.

I thought Tyne-Lexy would last a lot longer than she did. Was hoping Camilla would go — she's just a bit boring.

I'm glad she went, I don't think she knew how to pull a lad and I'm hoping Camilla will come out of her shell and actually get a lad, maybe her and Jonny can make up and become a thing.

Camilla is the most interesting person in the villa I think, because unlike everyone else who just remind me of drunk teenagers experiencing nightclubs for the first time, she seems to actually be looking for something genuine. I hope nothing gets rubbed off on her and she stays the same till the end, the feminist argument was a bit off but I hope her and Jonny can move past that and get together.

The Chris and "Muggy Mike" thing is fun to watch as well, looking forward to seeing how that develops in this nights episode and onwards.

I agree, I like that she isn't coupling up with people for the sake of it and wants to actually find someone whereas everyone else seems happy to bed hop and be with whoever seems a bit interesting just to stay in. I do hope her and Jonny can make up, it's just a shame he said she was slagging him off when in reality all she said was that it was off putting that they don't have the same views in that sense. He totally took it the wrong way and acted like an idiot.

Chris is really irritating and I don't blame Mike for what he did, he is just playing the game and finding someone which is the purpose. Jess did the exact same thing and it worked out so well for her. It's gonna be interesting to see what happens with that though.

She's in the wrong place if she's hoping to find someone genuine. She was so dramatic when she found out Johnny had his own opinions — shock horror. I think it's nice she breaks the Love Island mould, but I keep forgetting she's even there. Does seem like the others are rubbing off on her, though. She was super into twerking and was puffing away on a cigarette a couple of episodes ago. Twitter had a meltdown.

There has been rumours going round that Jess & Mike hooked up after they left Love Island and I saw something on the official Twitter that should make tonight's episode interesting, as well as the possible Amber/Kem drama. Jess is going to be on Aftersun so we'll see if the rumours are true or not. I'm not sure if I believe it or not, but then I also feel if it's true I wouldn't be surprised at all.

Tyla and Simon seem like awesome new people though, I wasn't surprised he picked Montana as I thought they'd end up together and I'm glad Tyla picked Dom and not Jonny. I want Camilla and Jonny together too much to have someone come in and ruin it.

The new guy and Montana seem like a good couple, but I'm sad for Sam. I would love for Olivia and Chloe to go — they're basically the same person. I know that one wears glasses sometimes, but otherwise I can't tell them apart. I missed the episode where Jess and Mike went, so I'm a bit out of the loop. Not too many shocks so far, though. The second series was a never-ending drama jamboree.

Just catching up with Sunday's episode and Amber seemed kind of manipulative. Montana was on to her straight away. Obviously can't really say anything for certain, but the way it came across, it looked like she wanted to get out of the relationship with Kem without actually saying it.

Apparently there's a major twist coming up. They're going to split the girls and the boys, with one group living in the current villa and the other group moving to another nearby, then they're going to introduce new boys to the girls villa and new girls to the boys villa.

I've been half watching the last few episodes because I've been too tired to properly watch them but I hate how Jonny is being. He is going to ditch Camilla for a quick shag basically. He could have just spoken to her about where they were or whatever, but instead he ignored her and got Marcel to do it like they were in high school. Amber is a massive snake, I can't decide if she actually wants Kem or she wants what she can't have now he has dumped her and is interested in Tyla. It's like she has to run around telling everyone some version of whatever happened so they'll still like her, it's so manipulative and I'd happily bet both her and Kem will get with others when they split up.

I'm not at all surprised about Sam & Chloe being kicked out, they hadn't properly coupled up with anyone and were boring. It was stupid that Chloe was desperate to know who voted for her though, I know they were her mates but they were the least compatible. I have absolutely no idea who'll be voted as the best couple in the house and who'll go, no-one is really standing out to me anymore so I'm excited for new people to come in and hopefully improve the villa.

I'm so so excited for tonights episode with the postcard, they are proper stirring up the drama with that.

Chris and Kems hummus/carrot conversations are brilliant, they are so funny together. I love how Kem is going on about how half of the new girls are his type/he wants to crack on with them. It changes every 5 seconds. Shocked at Marcel as I thought he'd be faithful but maybe it was just an instant reaction, still doesn't excuse it though.

Mike & Sam are back in the villa. I'm glad they went in over the others and I'm really hoping Mike makes a mug out of Liv after what happened with her and Chris. I don't know what her problem is, Chris is better off without.

Still think Mike and Jess did the deed, hopefully he'll admit it while in the house because he'd been telling anyone who asks him in public but then denying it over Twitter. There has to be something to it otherwise the rumour wouldn't have started.

People seem to be hating on Theo but I admire him for actually speaking the truth. When Jess left, people said Dom would go if he cared that much so why is everyone pissed off he said the same to Tyla who then got on with Mike a day or two later? Jonny has been seen kissing Chyna too, I knew he wouldn't wait for her but I also feel it's justified if she didn't bother waiting either.

Otherwise, I feel it's been uneventful apart from Liv & Chris splitting up but Liv is clearly off her rocker and Chris deserves better. I have this feeling that Liv just expects Chris to constantly chase after her and be declaring his undying love for her and when he doesn't, she goes full on psycho.

Me and my mum were in my brothers room other week and this was on and I was sitting there for about 15 minutes watching and i've honestly never seen or heard such garbage in all my life. They were talking for the full 15 minutes, but saying absolutely nothing.

I'm hoping Camilla and Jamie win because everyone else is annoying me in one way or another. Montana is really grating on me, I feel she thinks she is save with Alex and can now show her true colours by slagging everyone off behind their backs. Alex can do better, I don't think she'll stay with him for long outside the villa too. Liv and Chris, ugh. I cannot stand Liv and Chris can do so, so much better. Liv definitely plays the victim whenever she knows she's in the wrong but when it's Chris, she flies off the handle at him. Haven't been able to watch it in ages, but caught the most recent two episodes. Disappointed that snake is still in the villa. What happened to Johnny? Montana is still the best. Camilla really grates on me. No idea who Alex and Jamie are. Are they decent?

I think Jonny and Tyla, who were coupled up, got voted to be dumped but then had to decided between themselves who left out of the two and Jonny decided to go. Alex came in when the boys went into their own villa and he is now coupled up with Montana - he is alright but he doesn't really say/do much. Jamie is lovely, he's been so seeet and amazing, basically perfect for Camila. Apparently they've had sex so clearly he is better than Jonny & Craig.

It's all over now! Kem & Amber won, Kem got the £50k and shared it. Camilla & Jamie came 2nd, Chris & Olivia were 3rd and Gabby & Marcel were 4th.

I'm not surprised at how it turned out, although I was hoping Camilla & Jamie would win. I'm just interested to see who lasts outside the villa now. I'm thinking Kem & Amber as well as Camilla & Jamie will last, not sure about the other two especially as everyone seems to think Gabby was faking it for the money.

Really don't like Amber — gutted she won. Seems like this series was ITV's most successful, but I preferred the first two. Didn't really get attached to anybody this time around, and there wasn't much serious drama compared to the stuff with Sophie, Malin, and Zara last time around.

I haven't watched the others but I do feel as it went on, I cared less and less about the people on it and didn't really get attached to anyone either. As far as I know, it's been confirmed for next so hopefully they'll have some great people next year.

The first series was absolutely stellar mainly because of Hannah and Jon, but I think the second series is my favourite. Just tons of great people and lots of compelling drama and funny moments. Some people had total meltdowns in the second season. Definitely worth watching if you like the format and have some free time.

I also find that — this series — it was pretty much the same people all the way through. No new additions really stuck around all that much. That was almost the case in the first series, but in the second series there was a real mixture and lots of late arrivals who stuck around for some time.

Apparently both the previous seasons are on ITV Hub so I'm gonna give them a watch. I agree with that, everyone was the same. Whenever they introduced new people, they were just copies of the one we already had so everyone just blended in, no-one stood out or was particularly memorable.

I've seen people saying that it's been confirmed but I don't think it has yet.

Apparently Channel 5 have a new show that's meant to make Love Island being over better. It's basically couples on an island or something who've had relationship issues so they spend 48 hours dating other people then switch or something. Seems like a recipe for disaster for those involved. Might give it a watch and see though.

Shock horror, Montana and Alex have split already. I liked this recent series, but I think the reunion show really displayed how tame it was compared to season two. Rather than interviews in a studio, last year they had the reunion amongst drinks at some exclusive party, and there was even more drama.

Don't know if anybody who posted here is still around, but Mike took his own life on Saturday. He's the second person from Love Island to die after Sophie, who was also reported to have commit suicide last year, though I think the inquest is still ongoing. Montana went on This Morning and opened up about it. I don't recall Mike as much as I do Sophie in Season 2, but by all accounts he was a nice chap. Sad to hear.
