hairstyles to make you look older?

I googled this but it only shows to STOP you looking older...

I'm basically thinking my hair is making me look really young and I kinda wanna change it. It's currently long and blonde with no layers or anything:

you can't really see there but it's about waist length and split endy at the bottom...

OK so I'm thinking I might get it cut shorter, maybe boob length. Maybe layers as well so its not just like there?

I could also dye it back like this type thing so it looks darker but is still blonde:

Your face is young and unless you go full on middle aged WASP haircut (do not) then the hair won't make that much difference to how old you look, especially if it has to be low-to-no maintenance :P

I LOVE love love this hairstyle but my hair is really flat at front so would look so crap on me :( to make it look even

Thanks Charlie!! It is a bit like boring and lank so I do wanna do more with it but I'm so worried about having crappy layers again like when I was a kid it makes me really scared :(

I think I will re-dye it like scottish; suggested I really liked that ombre look aswell

I agree!!! if my hair would stay wavy tho. The front bits are POKER straight so I'd have to style it every day and i have NOT got time for that :(

I work in a really big uni though remember, I represent my department at a lot of senior groups and I don't wanna get dismissed because it will stop my whole department from being represented in the needs of the uni etc

Also yeah, been told that people have complained about me when all I've done is pretty much just be strong but cos im a YOUNG LOOKKIN GIRL i can't possibly know what I mean so what I do and say gets really quickly dismissed. Not good for where I work or my reputation/career :(

I never thought I had a young face until I posted this thread tbh now I keep thinking about it!! Me and my sister have both got my dad's quite round face so it sucks :(

Yes it sucks! I really want something similar to what Myles posted but I feel that with my face it will just look bad, plus I can't be bothered spending the amount of time it would need every morning :(

EXACTLY and those hairstyles are deceptively difficult to maintain! Alright if you're a celebrity with a million quid to spend on hair products and the sheer time (or hairdresser) but mine would just look flat and stupid all the time and flick out!!! :(
