where are the furni descriptions??

After a short 'hiatus', just went back to the client to see what's going on, what was added, but it looks like they removed the mottos [?], the brief description of all the furniture that appears whenever we click on the furni itself! Is that true? if so, why would they even need to do this, if not to make fun of the players?

Yeah, they removed them some time back. It gets really confusing, especially when it comes to badges & achievements !

I don't mind furni being without descriptions but badges/achievements annoy me because I don't know what half of them are for based on their name alone.

I can't believe they've removed descriptions, not only from furniture, but from badges, too. How lazy can you get. Half the game is to do with building and being creative, and they can't even take a couple of moments to write up a few lines about whatever they're introducing. This annoys me more than it should. :censored:

They should take The Sims as an influence -- they could sit there for a minute or two then they would create two paragraphs explaining the beautiful journey of a table lamp made of plastic (students from SimCity trying to collect funds by selling this cheap plastic thing, etc, don't you remember that?)

Good to see that someone shares the same radius of frustration -- now all we've got is an empty space between columns on the furni/badge popups indicating that something is missing there -- DAMN IT

The theory also says that they removed the previously put ones in order to avoid complications with Copyright and stuff -- 0.10 per motto

Heads up — you can still see badge descriptions on the badge widget on people's individual profile pages. Really sucks they've just done away with them on the cilent. It's just pure indolence. They could have turned to the community to provide descriptions from now on, perhaps garner more investment into the game and build a better reputation, but nope.

They are still available on the app too
As it seems, the motto's info weren't simply deleted from the database, technically; only hidden from our eyes, which is good - they can change their mind about hiding it in the future, if they happen to want to

I can not see why, in your and everyone else's opinion, the badge mottos seem more vulnerable without descriptions than the furniture

don't think that was the main reason as for badges they're usually either rereleased or the fansite gives them the description too.

think it was something to do with server space? could be wrong though

Very odd to take away the descriptions, as people have said it was ideal at events to use for answers. I hate that they are re-using some badges, I had one when they weren't given out if you sat on a chair or clapped your hands and it was renamed.

Nooo, it was all about snowball! I miss queuing up for these type of games. I don't enjoy them in private rooms. Wish they would bring them back rather than just thinking of making a "profit" from the furni.

I loved that too

they replaced them with battle banzai and freeze which I really loved but none knows how to play them any more :(
