Do you enjoy drinking or not? Do prefer quiet nights in / at quieter places or nights out in clubs? How often do you go out, if you do?

I enjoy drinking, but now I live alone it's something I only do sparingly. Used to drink almost every weekend — always at home. Went to a club once and thought it was a waste of time, with a really grating atmosphere. I'm not really a pub goer, but going back a couple of years, my friends and I found this really quiet pub around Bankside area in London at New Year's. We had a drink there, and it was just a perfect moment. Whenever I drink out, it's mostly during a catch-up with friends or some sort of social occasion, so we'll go to a restaurant or Wetherspoons or something.

I do love a good drink if I'm honest (I am Irish after all). I drink at least once a week, but not a whopping amount could be like 4 beers, not enough to get you drunk. I love quiet nights in but I do also like a night out on the town, not too often though as it can get a bit much. I like drinking in a pub as I find the atmosphere is usually quite lovely.

I'd say in general I drink weekly, but that's an average bcus when I'm at Uni its friday, saturday then sunday day time but when I'm at home over summer its a lot less often. I do really enjoy drinking though, although I've stopped with the beers lately bcus of putting on weight - gin and lemonade is the way to go apparently!

To say I love to drink makes me sound like an alcoholic so I'll say I do enjoy it but I can have nights out where I don't drink I just tend to find them less fun, I'm not sure if that's just me? Like if I go out clubbing or to a pub and I don't drink I find it just drags and it becomes boring whereas when you drink it seems more fun!

I'm not a big drinker tbh, I only drink if it's like a house party type thing in the aim to get rather tipsy/drunk. Don't normally drink alcohol if we go out to a bar/out to dinner unless they make good cocktails and someone else is buying ;)

I'd only have a casual drink with dinner or something. Never really seen the sense on going to clubs/bars/pubs and getting drunk in general.

Yeah I like a drink. Normally like to go out with friends and family when I do but very rarely. Not really the person that drinks in the house unless we get together as a family.

I feel like the opposite aha. I'm a drink at home person, especially as my friends are busy with other stuff now so nights out have stopped and the night life around here isn't all that great. It's just cheaper and easier to drink at home than try and get together people to go out, along with the travel there/back as we'd go out of town.

I'm very much a social drinker. I can not remember the last time I had a drink at home. Occasionally after work we will all stay behind and have a drink before we head home, apart from that I only really drink occasionally when I meet up with friends which is normally at a pub or with a meal. Maybe once or twice a year I will go out out with some friends for a day of drinking. We normally start off with lunch and go on a bit of a bar crawl and then end up in a club and dance the night away.
