When do you start Christmas shopping?

I know we're nearing the end of September but Christmas is starting to appear in supermarkets and what not so I'm thinking I might start shopping for people now to beat the rush in December because shopping is bad enough, it's worse when there is even more people around doing it.

When do you usual start your Christmas shopping? Do you get it done nice and early, or are you more of a last minute person?

Usually at the start of December, last year I bought a few things in the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales though where I got a large portion of my presents. :)

Lmao we've had our Christmas stock out for 2-3 weeks, it's surreal :(.

Usually, I'm very bad at shopping for other people and leave it until the last minute, however, as last year was my boyfriend's first proper Christmas in 16 years I started rather early and kept buying bits until a couple of days before (and then I was wrapping until like 1-2am on Christmas Day).

This year, I have bought 2 items (they're the same thing just different colours) already, but I'm having to give my boyfriend them for his birthday instead as that comes first :D. I've seen bits I want to buy though, but I'm trying to put it off until I feel the time is right to start buying presents, plus I'm limited for space in my room so I can't really hide stuff for 3 months without people seeing!

I usually start in December, but I’ve already bought a couple of things for my boyfriend when I saw them on sale. I have a few other things in mind for him so if they come on sale before December doesn’t matter I’m gonna snap them up too and just hide them in our house haha

My older sister starts in July. I would say I start right after Black Friday here in the US

I look year-round for deals and things people might like. But generally speaking at the beginning of december I do the bulk of it. I don't do much christmas shopping now days though.

Gotta start thinking of some now because I have relatives in Australia and stuff like that but mostly not until mid-late November and then panic :P fully expect that lawrawrrr; has done all of her Christmas shopping for everyone until 2020
