Phase One of the Brexit Deal completed
Britain and the EU now move on to Phase Two which is on Trade Talks for a Free Trade Agreement (FTA)

I'm quite pleased.
My only annoyance is that it'll take time (see second tweet) to get to the end goal *but* given I am getting everything I wanted at that end, I can wait a couple of years for it. Much better than being stuck in the EEA/EFTA with a 'soft' Brexit for all time. We're basically going to be like Canada - a third party country that is completely economically/politically/legally independent, but with strong mutual recognition standards with the EU to faciliate easy trade. That's good.
When it is all done and dusted, we'll wonder a) what all the fuss was about over leaving & b) why we ever joined in the first place. :P
