I bought 300 dollars in habbo coins and out of no where I get trade locked. I see people having this issue a lot and some don't even get unbanned. You can tell why I'd be nervous I mean 300 dollars..... Should I wait for habbo I submit a request 3 hours ago or make a claim with my bank and just get my money back?

I don't know how Habbo/Sulake are with customer support these days, but $300 is a lot of money. You've probably been locked as some sort of automatic safety precaution as it's a big purchase. If you're worried, then maybe give it until the end of their business hours tomorrow, and if you haven't heard anything, then take it up with your bank. In this case I would sure as hell hope they unlock your account, though. You just gave them a lot of money, so they should sort it out for you.

So you really think its just a safety precaution? I just started playing yesterday >.< and out of no where I get perm trade lock???

Like should I worry do you think they will resolve it? I just spent 20 more dollars to see if it would allow me and it does so I don't see how this is for safety? I haven't even talked to anyone yet.

These are all assumptions, but I would guess since you just started playing yesterday, and have gone right in with a $300 purchase, you've been locked out to ensure there's no foul play going on. For instance, somebody could steal a credit card, purchase credits on one account, then attempt to trade them around through other accounts to make them more difficult to trace. There are certainly better ways about it; they should have contacted you for a start. But if you just started playing yesterday, then are you certain you're able to trade yet? How old is the account? I haven't started a new character in a long while, but if I remember correctly I think the account needs to be 3 - 5 days old before it is considered a 'Habbo Citizen' and receives a trading pass. Have you done all that?

As AlwaysHard has said this SHOULD be just a safety precaution - annoying though, certainly! Especially with you being a new player it's probably flagged something up on their (notoriously mismanaged) system and will require you to wait until they get a proper response to you. $300 is a lot to be flinging out on a new game so definitely understand your worries, hope they get back to you soooooooooooon
They tradelocked me after I made a purchase too and when I contacted them they wanted to see a copy of my bank statement as proof of purchase. They then sent me a message saying they've removed my tradelock so hopefully this will get sorted for you soon. :)

They usually reply within a week but with the Christmas/New Year break the staff probably have some time off... I'm sure it will be all fine in a few days. You're probably worried because it's so much money but they're just taking a precaution to protect you incase it was fraud, so try and think positively!
Habbo staff are utterly useless. It takes them a lifetime to reply. Even when they do it's nearly always unhelpful (in my experience).

Only reason why is that it might be because of the Christmas/New Year break, but you should've really had a reply by now. But, as everyone has said, really really shoddy customer service.

I just don't understand its been a week and not even a single reply like we are looking into your issue please wait or any updates. This is so horrible. I don't know what else to do. I have no number I can call them at.... Is this how we treat new customers!????? Like I even bought more credits after and after adding up everything I have a total of 420 dollars!!!!!!!!! Where is my support? What do I do!!?

They set my ticket to low priority!!!? LOL and close out any other request I make.
Seconds I get AUTO response with a closed ticket WTF
Hello,
Thanks for contacting Habbo.
We're sorry if we haven't dealt with your previous request yet, but please do not open additional or duplicate tickets.
This may make things confusing and you end up getting answers and more questions on multiple tickets. We will get to your first ticket as soon as soon as possible. If you want to give us further information on your existing ticket, please reply to the email you were sent when you opened it.
Many thanks.
Best,
Alexander

Maybe they are getting sick and tired of you spamming support tickets.
Give them time, they're looking into the situation obviously, so just give them time.

Dude I spent over 300 dollars its a script they have that closes out tickets yet they are giving me poor customer service I have every right to spam emails.

I get your frustration but spamming a support system gets you absolutely nowhere and whoever may be dealing with your request is probably getting sick to death of you. From my time working at University in the Admissions department seeing incessant emails from the same person genuinely makes you just skip past them for someone else to deal with. Relax - you'll be sorted.
Also, with every single ounce of respect, isn't $300 a lot of money to spend on a game like Habbo - years ago maybe I'd understand but the community is dwindling and they could very easily close tomorrow. But, regardless, you can spend your money on whatever you want.

That's a bit sensationalist. It's true Habbo isn't as popular as it used to be, but I don't think the end is that imminent.

True, but just wanted to give the idea of the fact this is a virtual currency and could disappear within the next minute, didn't mean it literally.

Spread your purchases out more instead of all in one go. A couple a day.
