Most of us watched a hell of a lot of TV as a kid, so I want to know: what's your favourite childhood programme?
Mine was a tie between Drake and Josh and iCarly!
Can't wait to hear what your fave shows were as a kid! :)

True 90s kid here. I loved Art Attack, Robot Wars, Pokemon, and Monster Rancher. I also had a couple of shows on VHS from the 1980s and before. One of them was The Trap Door, which was a stop-motion series about a blue monster and his friends, and the other was the old black and white 1950s version of Bill and Ben the Flower Pot Men, which I really loved. Brum and Bernard's Watch are also very nostalgic.
Hard to imagine some of this stuff being shown on TV anymore. Kids shows look so much more friendly and watered down now.

Shit Art Attack was my jam! I had the Christmas special on VHS and actually made like all the stuff off it! Also loved Arthur, Rolie Polie Olie, Oakey Doke, Greenclaws, Bear in the Big Blue House, Tweenies, Tracey Beaker, I loved Big Cook Little Cook even though I was like 13 at the time. I swear there’s so many I’ve forgotten.

The Sun? She was probably the LESS creepy element on the series, but Teletubbies is intriguingly great anyway and I hate to admit that, mainly because of its offbeat aspect alone; how it'd easily fit in a kind of 'my-first-scifi' pack, heh. We had a cassette video with about 1h of some random episodes. I'd watch it continuously (as though to digest all the supposedly hidden content from it) and I simply loved the SOUNDS of it, from the weird synth noises from the songs to the whooshing stuff from the pinwheel fan, whatever. Was I being brainwashed and transformed me into this awks dude you're talking to?, Who knows?
Anyhow, my childhood was filled with the 2000's Cartoonnetwork stars, including the Powerpuff Girls and Dexter's Laboratory, my favorite shows at the time! The sitcoms came a bit later, mainly those starred by black actors - the Fresh Prince of Bel-air, My Wife & Kids, a little bit of Kenan & Kell and That's So Raven

Omg I love this thread!
I spent most of my TV time as a teenager watching Sabrina the teenage witch and Saved by the bell.
Ohhh I loved Sabrina. Hey Arnold was always on when I got back from school. Nikelodeon was my channel of choice!

I remember my little brother and I waking up at like 5am on school days to get ready to go to the babysitters house, even before i got out of bed and dressed my mom always turned on the T.V in our room as we got ready. I remember always watching "Teletoon" (It was/Is a Canadian Broadcasting TV Channel, After some research i see they have it in the UK aswell.)
every morning we watched "Little Lou Lou" a horrible cartoon especially by today's standards. but for some reason that show is forever stuck in my head.
"Little Lou Lou, Little Lou Lou, With Freckles On Your Skin, Always In & Out Of Trouble, But Mostly Always In..."
There was actually a well known Family Guy episode called "Lil Griffins" that (to me) seems like a exact story from Littl Lou Lou and everytime i watch that episode i think of that.
Anyone else ever seen this show?
Update:
Aparently it was a Comic Strip that first appeared in The Saturday Evening Post on 23 February 1935 and the Tv show was casted with Tracy Ullman as little lulu in the first season...
(ahaha wow!) the Tv show lasted from 1995- 99

barney and friends
At some period of my life I'd get massively embarrassed if I was watching Barney with my parents present in the same room but wouldn't be in case it was time to teletubbies????
