Are you planning on going away this year, where to and what kind of holiday are you going on?

I'm going on our annual one to Ingoldmells as usual in August - unfortunately it's a week later this year so I'll potentially miss Habbox Summer Spectacular :(!

I'm also going to Wales on the Break Free holiday promotion in May as well. I was incredibly lucky last year and went on three holidays (Blackpool in October), but I don't think that's happening this year.

I'm going to visit my mum who lives in Belize.. stopping off at Cancun, San Pedro, Caye Caulker and other various locations along the way.

I leave a week tomorrow and am going for 2 weeks with a friend of mine

Don't have any other planned after that, but I'm sure I'll go on another one this year.

Haven't got another planned yet, waiting to see how Brexit pans out before I book another holiday, as might be able to get it cheaper if I wait
But probably September time somewhere cheap like Spain or Portugal.

The park on the hill is called Letna Park, only a short walk from city centre.

I have a picture + video from cycling the river, click below (swipe sideways for video).

got literally nothing planned this year except guide camp in ESSEX so I love it but feel like I need a real holiday

don't really have anyone I particularly want to go with so I'd consider going somewhere maybe 3 nights just me? not too sure yet though cos my course takes up a lot of my free time and I know if I went on holiday from work I'd just end up studying wherever I go instead
normally just visit various friends round the country whenever I take holiday and then end up panic using it all at the end of the holiday year (runs 1st march - end of feb) because I haven't used it enough during the year

In July plan to go with my friends to Malaga area in Spain and from there to go by boat to Morocco for 3-4 days, first time will go there so I am exited. And in August we have a family vacation in our French Riviera real estate https://tranio.com/france/cote_d_azur/, we do it annual so this vacation is always happening for 2 weeks minimum. Asked other friend now aswell, things moving for a holiday in September/October. Punjab may be too expensive flights wise, so we've been looking at other places like Addis Ababa (Ethiopia), Cairo (Egypt) and Peking (China). No idea where it'll fall on but hopefully in next few days we've decided. At the moment I am leaning to Addis Ababa but tbh I will generally go anywhere.

How long are these trips on average if you don't mind me asking? I think it's cool that you go to lots of exotic places many others aren't interested in. Are there any "far out" locations you'd like to visit that would be difficult, e.g. DR Congo, Iraq, Sudan, North Korea etc?

Usually a week or 8 days - that's how long I did in India, Vietnam, Sri Lanka.

And yeah i'll go anywhere generally provided it is safe enough. Just check the FCO website and make a decision.

@Zak (https://www.habboxforum.com/member.php?u=33322);

And I forgot to say, yeah I like going places left alone by the modern world. I'd much rather be among the crumbling colonial facades of Bombay with the putrid (and sometimes nice) smells than the glittering skyscrapers of Singapore with a McDonalds on every corner. The world is becoming less and less interesting, so I want to experience these places before they possibly disappear. I wish I was born in the 1800s sometimes! David Livingstone and Cecil Rhodes could've took me along as their bag carrier and I would have been quite happy.

ATM we've changed again. Looking like Uganda at the moment. Literally don't know where we'll end up this autumn ha ha.

I'm a little starstruck by the glitz and glamour although I love ancient history. I'll happily go visit a place thats been bashed to pieces long ago. I think it's awesome that you visit places that are off the tourist track. I thought you only went for a couple of days! You'll have to do me a list of all the interesting places you've been. It's some of the lesser ports that I've visited that I've liked the most, like Malacca in Malaysia for example.

Was planning to go on a cheap £500 holiday somewhere this year.. went to Belize earlier this year... But I think I've decided to get a new kitchen instead now.

I wanted to go Spain or somewhere else that's cheap. Not really bothered about location, moreso weather and the company in with.

i usually find a week is just enough outside of the continent to do a city + at least somewhere outside the city.

what's malaysia like? i bet the food is great there.

India (Bombay, Matheran)
Russia (Moscow and the outskirts)
Morocco (Tangier)
Vietnam (Saigon, Mekong Delta)
Sri Lanka (Colombo, Hikkaduwa, Kandy)
America (Orlando)
Hungary (Budapest and the outskirts)
Czech Republic (Prague and the outskirts)
France (Somme and Verdun areas)
Belgium (Brussels, southern border areas)
Spain (Canaries, Balearics, Barcelona, Seville, Cadiz, Bilbao)
Portugal (Algarve)
Greece (Crete and some other islands idk)
Cyprus (idk place name)
Turkey (idk place name)
Gibraltar

Most beautiful place: Moscow, Russia. (in the winter)

Favourite place: Bombay, India.

cheap!? my family just booked a holiday for like £450 each to Greece and i was like wtf! so expensive. i know cos its summer like but.

idk if you're into, but you know if you went on holiday out of season (autumn, after new year) you could literally go somewhere like Moscow, Saigon or Bombay for about £600 (visas, flights and a 5* hotel included)? may be worth a look cos you get more bang for your buck x

for example i saw a direct flight in september this year from Liverpool to Kiev for £97! hotel would be cheap and expenses there too

Well I meant a 2 week holiday all inclusive. I normally spent £1600 on a holiday a year, so I guess a £500 one I consider to be cheap.
I suppose it depends on your priorities, I believe holidays are important and thus I save enough to go on at least one a year. Some people think cars are important, and spend like £400 a month on one, which I think personally is ridiculous, but then some people may think spending £1600 on a holiday is ridiculous, but each to their own I guess :)

But generally cheap cheap holidays are cheap for a reason, and I'd rather pay a bit more money for better facilities and amenities around the area. The old saying of you get what you pay for...

Yeah I'd say £500 is cheap. Cruising you're looking at over £1000+ easily (per person), £2000+ if you're going further afield.

December 2019 I will be going to Mexico for 4 weeks for the first time. I hope everything works out, since I plan on leaving after my finals. I have 4 weeks off for my university during that time. I plan on running a race, eating as many vegan places in the city I'm staying, and finally connecting to my cousins I have never seen before.

18th Nov - 21st Nov = Berlin, Germany https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/en/thumb/b/ba/Flag_of_Germany.svg/23px-Flag_of_Germany.svg.png (£50 return)

26th Dec - 30th Dec = Oslo, Norway https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/d/d9/Flag_of_Norway.svg/21px-Flag_of_Norway.svg.png (£70)

And in ten days time I will be on my way to Rwanda https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/1/17/Flag_of_Rwanda.svg/23px-Flag_of_Rwanda.svg.png and Uganda https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/4/4e/Flag_of_Uganda.svg/23px-Flag_of_Uganda.svg.png

That means in 2019 all the countries/colonies I have stepped foot in and visited are: Sri Lanka, Britain, Spain, Gibraltar, Morocco, Germany, Rwanda, Uganda and Norway. I think that now takes me to a total of 20 countries visited, with 1 colony. Happy days!

So in terms of holidays, this year changed massively for us! The original plan was Wales in May and Ingoldmells in August - both happened, but we ended up buying a caravan near Ingoldmells when we were away. We also went to Great Yarmouth in September for my mum's 60th.

This year, I've now been to Ingoldmells three times, Great Yarmouth once and Wales. It's been a good year in terms of holidays really!

I want to do race to the wreck but no-one I know is willing to do it with me :|

It's in Namibia, so you travel over then first race day you do 90km on bikes, second day you do 110km on bikes, third day you do 40km run, fourth day you do 43km run, fifth day you do 20km run.. stupid amounts of sand and around 9000ft of ascent on some parts but it looks bloody amazing
