Spanish General Election 2019
Spain heads to the polls for the 3rd time in four years amid a hung parliament
PM Pedro Sanchez (Socialist Party) leading the polls
Popular Party (Equivalent to Tories) expecting its worst ever result
New right-wing party VOX is expected to make significant gains making history
Spain's parliamentary system, usually two-party, is now split between 5 main parties

All eyes on VOX this election, obviously I am hoping they do well and pick up some seats. I never checked to see if I can apply to vote here, but wouldn't vote anyway as I don't believe in foreigners being allowed to vote in other people's countries. Most of my students though all said if they were old enough to vote, they'd vote VOX which suggests their parents will.
If VOX do well in these elections, it'll likely give them momentum heading into the European Elections. Italy's Matteo Salvini (currently in control of the Italian government) tweeted good luck to them today, so you can see a potential new force building in the EU.
