I LOVE LOVE LOVE THIS!
omg
I enjoy the contrast you did with the espresso colour cabinets on bottom, and the white on top.
Definitely modern and very well designed, congrats!

I love the black cabinets.
We have a large kitchen and it would've cost a fortune to gut it, so myself and my mum basically painted all the wooden doors and put new handles on and painted the tiles and it looks like a new kitchen. I stained the wooden tops, Mum then industrial sanded floor and stained that.

Ohh I LOVE upcycle projects!! It’s amazing what some paint and some modern handles can do to a cupboard/drawers. Sounds like you and your mum made a good team doing the kitchen up. Did it take long to do? I’m thinking of doing something similar with my bedroom wardrobes as the budget is as tight as my non-maternity pants. Only problem is I HATE sanding...

It's so nice to have a fresh kitchen. You should see the "before" bathroom.... it's SO rank. I'll post a before and after photo of the bathroom when the floor is done. Honestly, you have NOT seen a bath like the one they had haha...
It's been stressful living in the house while it gets done. If any of you go through the same my top advice is to put as much away in sealed storage as possible. The dust gets EVERYWHERE.

It looks so much better. We did our kitchen up around a year ago now - roughly how much did it cost if you don't mind me asking? I think we did ours for around £2300. We're paying it back on a plan.. not long until its paid back now.

Looks fab, my current kitchen is that horrible "neutral" cream beige colour and I hate it, always looks like it was meant to be white but got greasy

OMG I love your colour choices!!!! I have black appliances with copper accents and white/cream cabinets, it's such a nice combo. The floor is gorgeous too. Nice job!

Your renos look great. I made the questionable decision of buying a huge fixer-upper as my first home, and it has been a gigantic money pit lol. Everything had to be gutted and redone, all 1500 sqft ugh. The joys of owning a project home.
Kitchen looks fantastic! I just had my kitchen re-done too.. Finished it this week, although some minor things left to do.
Love your colour scheme, and your kitchen is so bright and open-aired, I love it

It's stressful isn't it! I thought we would be done by now (bought in February) but still SO much to do. I guess there will always be things I want to do though..
