How to attach pictures to forums/private messages?

I want to send in my entries for the GERALD THE GIRAFFE competition, but I can't find how to attach images from my computer into messages? :'(

Do i just have to try explain in words where I have found him?

Hey LucyFaye; you can upload your image on something like Imgur, right click > copy image and then go back to the post, right click > paste!!

There’s a few ways to do it but this is definitely the easiest way!!

I sent mine twice, I don't know how to upload either... lol. one with photos and ones with the words of where he was.
