Oh my. He's thicker than I could have even imagined. This is after his last stupid idea of imposing rent controls.

I know trained health professionals on £12 to £15 an hour... why would anyone train when they could flip burgers for £15 an hour?

How much do the cleaners in Corbyn's office earn compared to his salary? He could always voluntarily cut his wage in solidarity.

If Corbyn had his way and McDonalds workers got £15, the next day many franchises would close due to unprofitability - leaving all the workers there without a job, or they'll just outright bring in more robotics to do the serving and cooking, again with a net result of job losses. Socialism 101.

Meanwhile and ironically, Jeremy has been tweeting out his support for the overthrown corrupt leader of Bolivia, a man of the people who built himself a massive palace and is accused of corruption charges. He's also implicated in rigging the recent Bolivian election.

I generally like Jeremy and he's certainly a preference over the oaf that is Boris Johnson!

But this is beyond stupid... as you say, trained professionals can earn around that much...
Why bother going to university to get into a skilled profession if you can flip burgers for £15hr!?
Anybody can flip a burger, it is not a skilled job, it is a job for teenagers/young adults to earn some money whilst they study, not a long-term career that's expected to support a family etc. (rolleyes)

If their wages go to £15 then I hope skilled professions get increased to at least £20+!

Ridiculous. Pay out more bonuses instead, to the workers that show commitment, loyalty, are hardworking & exceeding expectations.

Every job has someone who does the bare minimum, and everyone else has to pick up their slack. Those people deserve minimum wage. Work hard, get rewarded!
