New Emojis for Forum

In light of a thread located here (https://www.habboxforum.com/showthread.php?t=849446) we're looking to change/update the current emojis.

The current ones we have on the forum can be view by clicking here (https://www.habboxforum.com/misc.php?do=showsmilies)
These are just a small selection of the emojis that iOS offer, a FULL list of iOS emojis can be seen here (https://emojipedia.org/apple/)

or we can update/change to Android emojis where a full list can be seen here (https://emojipedia.org/google/)

Obviously we can't have the 200+ emojis each company has to offer, but we can hand pick the most popular ones on the one you'd like to see the most of the forum.
If you'd like to keep the current ones, which are iOS (Apple) but would like to see different/more emojis from the FULL list above, then pick iOS..

Once we have a winner, then we'll go through and try to deem which emojis are the best/most popular for us to add to the forum!

Can we maybe apple emojis too? But I do like the idea of having android emojis too, also do keep the lego heads :P

It's either one or the other I'm afraid, we want to remain consistent, and having 2 different styles of emojis would look odd, not to mention that the popular emojis on both Android and iOS are likely to be the same, thus if we did that then we'd have 2 of the same emojis, but one would be iOS and the other Android.

It really does depend on your preference. personally I have an android phone, so naturally I'm steering more towards Android based emojis. However even if we keep the iOS emojis, it'll be nice for us as a community to band together and pick out a handful of the emojis we want to see on the forum

can't we just enable emoji support for native emojis (idk if vBulletin allows it)

I mean adding more emoticons isn't something I'd use, but if emojis were supported I would.

I definitely think we need a wider range of emoticons, I think most people on here use them a lot, mainly because a simple http://puu.sh/Fg7Uk/ee970d861b.png returns a happy face, as similar with other keyboard shortcuts we all use quite often.

We'll see how this poll does, though with the way it's going at the moment, it seems to be heading towards iOS, which means less work for me since we're already on that haha, it'll then just be perhaps adding more that might be more popular and perhaps even removing some that we feel won't get much use.

Oh, is that emoji straight from your iOS or Android keyboard?
I'm not fully sure that is supported but I'll look into it for sure..

Failing that I'll ask on the vB mod forum..

Although I'll still want an updated version of emojis for people to use when not on their tablet or phone

You can use emojis on any device, so makes more sense to look into supporting em.

Have looked into it, vB does support utf-8 emojis however only in vB5, this forum is vB4, which to be fair is probably around 6 or 7 years old now.

I guess for emoji support it'll have to wait until the forum gets upgraded. I'll see if there is a modification for vB4 to support them, but it'll have to wait till the weekend as my username and password for my vB license to view/download mods is saved to my PC at home

Will have to see how many Laura will allow us to add cause can't be adding a butt load of emojis lol

I'll give this thread till the end of the week and then I'll liaise with Laura and see if we can get the ball rolling on adding the additional ones, and perhaps taking some of the unused ones away if we deem there be too many with the additions.

These have been added (Unofficially) As they're currently not hosted on Habbox server, as I can't upload them there, but just testing them out before I ask Laura to upload them...

What do yo guys think? - Is the any others you can see yourself using?
