Bit of an odd question but I know love is completely different for different people and everyone has their own perceptions of it,
what does 'love' mean to you? Do you think you've been in love before? If so, how did you know?
If you don't think you have, how do you know you didn't feel 'in love'?

for me love is when both feel safe, secure and supported enough to become a better person as an individual which in turn allows your relationship to flourish. accepting each other and encouraging each other no matter what too.

Honestly don't know if I've been in love before... I feel like I might have been but I'm not 100% sure.

Love to me is about feeling appriciated and as buttons said, when you feel safe and secure. When you can truly be your self around someone and of worry about being judged in a bad light.

I feel like I had that once upon a time with my ex maybe, but since she cheated on me my memories and feelings are naturally a little clouded with hate and misery as a result.

Honestly don't even miss being in a relationship for the physical side of it, I miss having someone that I share everything with, someone who I can talk to everyday and not worry that I'm annoying them, because I know they want to hear it etc...

I think love means never giving up on someone. Everyone has their stuff that they go through, and I think that putting that extra effort and not giving up on someone when things get hard shows a lot of love.

Love is also when you feel like you can 100% be yourself around the person. A lot of people are afraid to be who they are around others in terms of things they like, what they listen to, how they act, but I think if it's love, you aren't afraid to show 1000% who you are, becuase you know they'll accept you and love you just as much.

Something unconditional, and fulfilling.

I've been in love twice, once for 7 years and now for 5 years.

Both times with straight friends. :'(

To me it is just the fact I want to spend every minute with him even if we're doing absolutely nothing.
