Sir Keir Starmer elected Labour Leader

Corbyn era comes to a close while Angela Rayner is elected as Deputy Leader

Worth bearing in mind that Sir Keir came up with and forcefully backed the genius idea of backing a second referendum, that took Labour to its lowest number of seats since 1935, losing northern constituencies like Bolsover. Then again, at least he doesn't support the IRA.

Thoughts?

A Welsh https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/a/a9/Flag_of_Wales_%281959%E2%80%93present%29.svg/23px-Flag_of_Wales_%281959%E2%80%93present%29.svg.png poll but interesting that it took place after the Labour leadership result.

The Conservatives are becoming in Wales what Labour had always been in Scotland and Wales until 2014 to now.

this is the first labour leadership campaign I've not been interested in a while, and not only have I not been interested but I actually forgot it existed

Got a push notification on my phone about starmer winning and was just like 'oh'. Wish labour would stop acting like they're purposely trying to make themselves irrelevant :| it's hurting me now
