The HxF Mole 5 - Task 5: Assassination

[Kardan]

The objective is quite simple; as a group you need to reach a target number of posts in this thread. And of course, there are going to be rules, after all, you don’t want to be ASSASSINATED by your fellow contestants!

For every post the group posts you will win 1p to the group prize fund up to a maximum of £2.50 for 250 posts.

So, the rules! If the same contestant posts directly above AND below a post of yours, you are assassinated and are out of this task.

Example 1; Bob posts, Celia posts, Bob posts. Celia is assassinated and is out of the task.

Take care though! Posts from non-contestants, hosts and assassinated players do not count! This means they do not count towards the total post count of the thread when trying to meet the target but ALSO they do NOT count in the assassination protocol.

Example 2; Bob posts, host posts, Celia posts, Bob posts. Celia is assassinated and is out of the task because the host’s post doesn’t count.

Example 3; Bob posts, host posts, Celia posts, assassinated player posts, Bob posts. Celia is assassinated and is out of the task.

You are not allowed to double post so you must wait for one other player to post before you can post again. Double posting will be treated in the same manner as a host/assassinated player/non-contestant's post and will not count to the thread count or the assassination protocol.

But there has to be a catch...

The player that posts the most posts, whilst NOT assassinated, will win an exemption. (If this is tied, no exemption is awarded)
The player that assassinates the most players will win an exemption. (If this is tied, whichever contestant that made the most posts whilst not assassinated will win the exemption)
The player that becomes the only player left in the task will win an exemption.

The task will end at 8pm BST on Thursday 16th April, or when the group reach 250 posts, or when there is only 1 player remaining.

The group had a target of 250 posts to reach, but the group only managed to reach 36 legal posts.

This means 36p has been added to the group prize fund and £2.14 has been added to the Mole's prize fund.

There were 3 exemptions to hand out:

The player that posts the most posts, whilst NOT assassinated, will win an exemption. (If this is tied, no exemption is awarded)

scottish and Yupt both posted 6 times whilst not assassinated. Because this is a tie, no exemption is awarded.
