Apparently it will fit into the top of a controller, and will look like a dreamcast one?

However, we've created a mock-up (above) based on what we know of its functionality. The real controller shell is likely to connect to the free-hand-style pointer in a very similar fashion. Please note that we realize our model is not entirely to scale, but this is the best we could do on short notice.

You can add a gun to it, and its motioned cnesored so when you move it, like if your playing a game it can be like a sword.. gahh and well.. It does has a good side to it.

They (nintendo) modified Metroid Prime 2 to use the sensor, so where you point Samus aims. Its better than holding the R button and then aiming and shooting.

Whatever the controller X-Ray posted looks like, it's not real.
It's a mock-up made by IGN. We won't know what the real 'shell' looks like until Nintendo unveil it.

Apparently you hold the controller like a paper areoplane to get maximum game "velocity" out of the control x]

Everyone has opinions, obviously Joey doesn't like the N64.. Or most of the consoles Nintendo released. Yet he's a Nintendo fan.
All you liked were the SNES, Gameboy series and Nintendo? Seriously.. That isn't Nintendo fan like.

Uhm, Ps2 didnt kill Sega. Sega stopped making consoles, because nobody brought it, because it was released to late, it was released during the period of time everyone was releasing the next gen consoles, whilst sega had released the previous generation of console, at the wrong time.
Bear-Max
24-09-2005, 07:34 PM
Actually, the Dreamcast is often considered as a console in this generation. It just died a little early ^^
It had all the features today's consoles have (and some that have only been caught onto recently): great graphics, online play, and internet browsing.

I was going to get a Dreamcast, but waited for a PS2. All those who laughed at me because they had a Dreamcast were suddenly in envy.
I must say, Soul Caliber I for DC though was EXCELLENT.

Ok I saw G4 And The G4 Host was talking to President of Nintendo And heres the Info what I got:
G4: So why did you make the Revolution Controller look like a TV Controller?
President: We made it look like a TV Control because we wanted Non-Gamers to play and whats most streesing about a controller is using both hands.
G4: People Say That The Revolution will Be Less tech graphical than The PS3 And 360
President: Yes it is. But the way you use the controller you won't see munch of a difference between the conssoled
G4: Sence its going to be less graphical That means that it will have a lower price tag right?
President: well if we sell the Revolution or Nintendo 192 (N64, N128) For $400.00 or $300.00 Non-Gamers wont buy it so it will be somewhere in $250-ish
G4: This has been rumored for along time ago Is Mario going to be a launch Game?
President: Yes we are making him make a new mario game.
G4: Now Legend of Zelda Twilight Princess will be released in 2006 with more things added but why didnt you put in on the revolution?
President: We made a Promise to the Nintendo fans to put it on the GC Because we know they dont want to waist money on the revolution for the game.
Thats all I got. From the Tokyo Game Show And G4Tv
And The America is all you net to know.

I kind of don't believe that interview's real. No company would describe their product as a "waste of money". It's called fiscal suicide.

You miss real controller days? We're still in them o.0
And anyway, the Revolution will come also with a controller akin to what we have now, based heavily on the very popular Wavebird.

It has a joystick as well as the remote thing doesn't it?
Charles
15-10-2005, 08:25 AM
Yeah, an add-on. It'll be bundled in with the Revolution.
Nintendo say they're going to release more add-ons. Well, hopefully anway..
Bear-Max
15-10-2005, 10:58 AM
Actually Shiguru Miyamoto has been quoted saying there'll be an actual controller bundled, not just the shell that was announced at the Tokyo Game Show.
