What have you recently needed or wanted - that's been out of stuck, or like gold dust to buy?



Its been so hard to get dumbells and gym equipment - madness. And Jigsaws were impossible to get hold of at one point.

It's not as bad anymore as when isolation first started.. but bottled water was something that I could never find. Then, once the stores got stock again, they started putting a limit to 1 per person to try to avoid people from purchasing a whole cart of them. :P

A webcam! Also apparently hair clippers have been impossible to get because everyone's cutting their own hair now lol but I've been doing that for like 9 years so already had that luckily, hate to think what it'd look like otherwise.

Only thing I regularly need to buy that is often out of stock is eggs, but that's getting better recently

Hand wash and Hand gel! My god there was seriously 0 everywhere at the start of lockdown wherever I went, including online websites! It was awful, luckily its back to normal now.

Was surprised when I went to the shops last weekend and there were pallets of hand sanitiser, which was like liquid gold if you managed to find some last month!

I was looking to buy a computer monitor when the lockdown started but a lot of places had sold out of them because of people setting up their home offices.

Looking at the date this thread was first posted, I can say the thing I needed at this time was to be able to shop all my groceries in ONE shop. Just for the basics I had to go to 6 different shops during a weekday. Oh and of course.... Toilet paper? [emoji28]

I had KFC when I was in London and Scotland and was so happy to have KFC cookies and corn on the cob! WTF :o Our KFC does not have corn on the cob
