What is your most favourite coloured pen to write in?

Mine has to be a nice bright inky red pen.

I also adore handwriting in brown, orange and pink!- I often use these for my personal notes in contrary of the standard blues and blacks unless restricted :)

This is a thread that speaks to my soul

I love brightly coloured pens that stand out against black/blue normal writing. My FAVOURITE PEN was a pink one I got at a company fair thing a few years ago but it recently ran out of ink. My colleague then left a bright green pen on my desk so I kinda stole that.

I HAVE NO NICE PENS AT HOME THOUGH so :@ no nice notes when working from home

BLACK LIKE MY SOUL jk I don't have a soul but yeah most things in black but I have some nice Sharpies to do like contrast highlights and stuff, just a shame my left handedness smudges it all over everything

Yes Micka!!

I do enjoy a red pen for correcting stuff... Feel like a teacher lol.
Purple and orange coloured pens are my fave for random note taking :-)

Black over blue for 'serious' stuff lol.

When I am writing by hand then I am exclusively black ink. I often find other colours (especially blue ink) to be more liquid-y which means as a lefty I almost constantly end up smudging it.

Then ofc I love a red pen but that's a requirement for anyone interested in being a teacher lol xD

Overall, I like black the best. I'll use blue occasionally, but that's only really when I can't find any black pens. I'll also use red if I'm filling out a form for work or something.

I agree with Dyl and Tom, I'm also left-handed, so if I use pens that are more liquidy, more of the ink will end up on my pinky than on the paper, rip.

I tend to oscillate among blue and red each studying period to create a psychologically rewarding visual standard but you know, one would think its a usa flag color appreciation choice

I used to TA and the prof I did it for would 1) rage against pens being used by students but 2) Would refuse to mark any paper that had any ink that wasn't black or blue. Eventually a few students caught on and would intentionally write in coloured in knowing he would pawn off all of those assignments onto me

TL;DR, I now also hate all coloured inks

So ironically at work i can't write in Green / Purple / Pink due to the roles relating to the various colours.

So i normally write in a black pen - I hate blue pens with a passion.

At home i tend to use my cross fountain pen and use shimmer ink. Currently using a champagne pink.

Same here, can only use black ink for work, no other colors allowed. ;-l
