I didn't notice the guy from Russia was Dan Stevens I recognised him after the first song oh my god.
I love the song lion of love :D
My brother generally has the same taste as me in films, and he told me this film was hilarious and I needed to watch it.. I don't particularly find Will Ferrell films to be funny as I don't really like that sense of humour, but I watched it regardless because my brother said it was funny, and I can't say I laughed even once.. I mean the film is okay, but I feel because my brother hyped it up too much, I had high expectations in watching it, which fell extremely short, which as a result I thought the film was crap lol

Well now we all know that Tristan is wrong about everything and must be eradicated, because this is a great film with fantastic songs and brilliant dry humour which one might not expect from Will Ferrell - he becomes European very well for someone who does a lot of almost slapstick humour elsewhere
I ONLY WANT TO HEAR JA JA DING DONG
I agree with that though, the songs in there were amazing :)

I was a little worried when I heard they were making a Eurovision movie but it was good! And the songs were great. Even my family who aren't as mad about Eurovision as I am lol enjoyed it.

Right!?
It doesn't seem like the typical film that I would enjoy, but after hearing about how it was so good from everyone I gave it a chance and I really enjoyed it!
Not to mention that Ja Ja Ding Dong has been stuck in my head for how long now :P

It was definitely different in my opinion to any other Will Ferrell movies. With him and the accent, it didn't even feel like it was him :P

Can't belive I missed this thread. I think I started watching the film within 2 mins of it being released.
It was a really fun to watch and was really nice and easy on the brain. Will is a a ledge as always but I think he could have played more on the comedy aspects of Eurovsion (I mean is Eurovision really a think if you strip away all of the madness and wonderful weirdness). I'm a little gutted that Rachel Mcadams didnt actually sing any of her songs - mega mega dissapointed.
But the song a long was deffo a huge highlight - really wish lordi made an appearance though alongside bucks fizz!! "Making that hard rock hallelujah"
