Was curious what other people did on Habbo back in the day, or even nowadays.

For me, I used to play the game modes FIFA and PES. Based on football (soccer) the idea was to get past your opponents and stand on the opposite side of the room and you scored a goal. Was a lot of fun, was better than it sounds lol.

I was a huge furni maze fanatic for years and years and years. I made it my goal to conquer all the mazes on .ca, then .co.uk and .com sometimes. I loved building them too. My favourite mazes to build were what I called “messy mazes” after the introduction of large room floorplans. I would have one huge room, and using a variety of furni from every classic line jumbled together and stacked sneakily I would make a maze that resembled a hoarders basement lol. Wish I had saved a screenshot or two. They were pretty fun and I actually won a maze building comp once and won 5 gold habbo rollers when they were still new and unreleased. Good times.

When I was younger before I was involved with Habbox, I used to RP in the Hogwarts roleplay by FiendFyre. Funny enough, I've never watched OR read the Harry Potter series, but I still loved the roleplay. It was a lot of fun, then when I quit for a few years & come back, it was gone when I came back.

Seems like a lot of you, used to play in casinos. Back in 2008 when I was in school I convinced a friend to play Habbo. One day we were at his house, his parents were out and he spent £70 on the house phone on credit's, funny enough, he used my account for the credits and I ended up making a really bad ass casino. It was full with HC sofas, the lot. Then one day the account was banned and I can not find it anymore, I have accounts from around 2007 (I don't remember email or password) but can search them on an account search site but the casino account has completely vanished, I know what the username was. So strange.

I imagine when all UK speaking hotels merged back in 2010/11 I believe.. Your account was probably deleted due to inactivity or at best it's name was changed with a # put on the end of it.

You bunch of absolute rebels, I never used casinos I was always too scared of losing what tiny amount of furni I had. I did play the old "football" game before pathfinding and walkthrough changes broke it, good timezzz

Play Beat the Nelly my group of friends just played it constantly. Did a bit of school roleplay and modelling back in the day too.

I never got into casinos I was a bit of a goody two shoes so probably was like 'gambling is illegal I'm only 11'. Even later on I never did it.

What one did you play? There were three.

FIFA which was the original one and then PES came along. Both were so fun, me and my school friends would play it everyday after school and keep track of our appearances and goals in our Habbo motto. The third game mode was EF (English Football) was an ok Game, not many people played it as the rule was to sit on a pod (the football) and move it and try score on the rollers, trouble was the room host had to give everyone rights to move the pod and most rooms got trashed.

When I first joined I owned a really popular WWE place where we did roleplay, hence my Habbo name.

Then I got into trading, which led me to opening one of the first popular large trade rooms, T R A D E | A W A Y. I used to browse Habbox and the Forum itself for new furniture and values, but hadn't yet signed up - that is until the day the then-Habbox General Manager 8Freak8 appeared in my room to say he and sierk wanted to sponsor my room on Habbox Rare Values. As a result, I decided to sign up to the forum and within two months I had joined the Rare Values Department under Smiddy1234 as then-manager. By the end of the year (2006), I was Rare Values Manager replacing Mit. I remember being told then that it was the fastest anyone had ever gone from signing up/being junior staff to becoming manager. 8-)

So for much of my time on Habbo, I was mainly a trader although this gave way more and more to work on/for Habbox rather than trading much myself. I always prided myself on the fact I had a great network of "Del Boy"-like traders (the common people if you like) who kept me in the know with valuations, rather than slimy wealthy Habbos like casino owners who used to befriend me as a way to try and spread false rumours to get values to rise/fall to benefit themselves. I almost always had sources who would expose what they were up to and tell me which rumours were true, who'd really bought what and all the trading gossip. Great days.

Joined in 2002 and spent pretty much all of my time working in various help centres and help desks until they eventually died off in the 2010s. At some point in 2010 I started building a fairly comprehensive Habbo furniture museum with a few of my friends, which I kept up until I stopped playing regularly in about 2017. During the first lockdown I decided to sell up.

OMG. I remember these, I was a champion on one person's server and remember making an ECW one back in 2007-08ish, I remember getting hate because I wanted it realistic and WWE ECW only had one title and the fellow role players wanted more.

What do people even do on Habbo now?
Did the population die after the casino bans etc?
I had the best times on Habbo as a kid from 2004-2006 in casinos and owning a casino etc. Proper thrill for a youngster! Oh and guess what, it never influenced me to gamble in real life heading into adulthood 🙄

Haha wow. I remember all these guys as I was moderating the trading values forum. I did not expect to see a familiar username on here 15 years later.

Used to just play snowstorm or battle ball. I have only just started collecting badges in 2020. Didn't think much of them before.

I hung around events and played games back in the day. I then went onto the Casino scene, made some coins, lost some. Now I work with the Agencies.

I joined Habbo Armies. Once I got bored of sitting in a room recruiting like a MLM, I wanted to find other users. I found fansites, but Habbox's Help Desk brought me into this community. Spent 2012 - 2017/18? as a Help Desk Member. Now, I get on Habbo to just afk for a level boost.
