okay just an idea i dunno if its workable tho

so for 5,000 tokens we could offer:

you know like how the latest 3 awards appear on a persons profile when they post... well obviously to some people, an award for 10 years might be more important than some christmas award they've won so they might wanna display that instead.

so why not, if possible, allow users to purchase the ability to show which 3 awards they want are on display in their profile when they post?

5,000 tokens with the permanent ability to show 3 awards of ur own choice?

Idk why it's something we should have to pay for, should just be a standard thing. Like on habbo you don't have to pay to decide which badge you show (or maybe habbo 2020 you do, who knows from them money grabbers x )

that said, i'm in favour of whittling down token amounts of users.

maybe not 5,000 but i'm sure 2,000 or something would be agreeable?

Unfortunately, the amount of coding this would require is far beyond my knowledge or how-know.

Most of the plugins/mods on this forum are edited in some shape or form, some even heavily edited and tweaked, but this would require more than a tweak, this would require full on coding a completely new add-on, as opposed to tweaking an already built add-on.

The award system is set to display newest first. However I don't think that between me and laura, we'd be able to do something like this, nor would it be worth it if we could. On the front of it, it seems like an easy enough job but the backend would be difficult as it'll need to be integrated into the award system/database to pull the info for each member, baring in mind we didn't create the award system so it's not something that we know from the back of our hands.

I do like the idea though, but don't think I have the skill set to pull something like that off sadly. But yes if we were able to do this, it'll have been free :) I did actually mention this to laura a few weeks ago, I said "it's a shame users can't choose their 3 awards like you can in Habbo"

hahahaha, even if I went fulltime Hx, It'll take me weeks if not months to figure out how to do this, I could probably get it half working, whereby users are able to select awards, but it won't be integrated, meaning you'll be able to add literally any award you want, even if it's an award you haven't got lmao..

I mean, I can't speak for laura, she amazes me on what she's capable of most days, so perhaps it's something she's able to do, but I think since we'll be coding something from scratch for the first time, it'll take A LOT of time and a lot of trial and error, for what would be an extremely small feature. I'd ask on the vB forum, but tbh getting a reply for a simple question is like getting blood from a stone, let alone something as large as this, since vB4 is old news, they're onto vB5 now, so support is slowly dwindling for vB4, espeically for plug-in support, since they're 3rd party, and it's a free plugin, meaning they've never received a penny from us.

No but to echo what Triz has said we've already discussed the IDEA of doing this when we did the postbit thing, and as Cerys said in an ideal world I'd love to give you the option to choose them like you can on Habbo. I will spend a bit of time looking into it but I don't have very high hopes :P it's quite a complicated third party system so I don't want to mess with it too much. Will report back
