I worked at Old Navy and did a little bit of everything around the store.
I didn't mind it-- the pay wasn't awful, and the people were pretty great.

I worked at Morrisons (supermarket) as a Fresh To Go Assistant.

Basically did a mixture of making the fresh food for people to have takeaway food and serving people at the fresh to go section which had a salad bar, hot food, wrap bar, cake section. We also did the Christmas collection orders.

Absolutely hated it. :')

A few weeks in a call centre in the summer holidays between Uni semesters.

Was one of those dodgy call centres and the calls were so abusive, one girl even broke down and resigned - I couldn't stop laughing though! Was in stitches.

Currently on my third job.

Call centre > Hotel staff > English Teacher

I worked as a Cleaner at an american air base situated here in the UK... Cleaned their schools.. Hated it, I think I was there for about a year and a half.. I then joined Cineworld from there and did the 2 jobs side by side for 6 months before going full time at Cineworld

I worked in retail at a store called Shopko. Worked all around the store, but was mostly Apparel. I really enjoyed it because it was mostly high school/college aged people there, so we were all friends and it was a good time. I was sad when they shut down.

I worked as a lifeguard for a bit we was really understaffed so Id be the only lifeguard on duty for most the shift. I had 1 other lifeguard go and complain to the manager about me cos I didn't help her clean when I was watching the pool but she also left for 2 hours to go get mcdonals for the duty manager.
We did get a baptism once which was interesting. Honestly tho I just really hated I was getting minum wage to spread my time pulling hair out of drains and having customers moan at me about the hot water not working.

First job was at a chip shop back when I was 14 in 2006.

Went from there to a bottling plant, then onto Matalan when I was 16.

Lasted a year before I went to Poundland in 2009, made my way up to Manager and got made redundant March 2020 when the store got closed down.

Did a few months cleaning for the Council & Wickes.

Finally onto my current job of IT Admin & working on the side repairing/building PC's.

Mad leaving retail after a decade of doing it but glad I left!

if you're counting first work you were paid for, then content writing (freelance)

My first "proper" job would have been as Graphic Designer (well, Dylunio Graffig iirc)
