so do you have a passport

and if you do, when does it expire?

i've got to re-new my passport like in the next month because it runs out in September 2021 and you need 6 months left on it post-Brexit to be able to travel on it to the EU, and obviously i'll need it for travel between Spain and Britain as i'm planning to come home for easter holidays in april.

kinda gutted really cos i had loads of cool stamps in it but hey ho will start again and get the new one full of stamps!!

what about you?

I think mine runs out in 2023, sadly not really had any use for it the past year.
I used it for id once and the women kept looking at the date it was issued like your not over 18???

Pretty sure I don't look like a 2 year old on my pass port but I don't think they really looked at it that well.
It probably doesn't look too much like me now since its about 8 years ago since I got it

I unfortunately do not have a passport, YET.

I live in the United States and have really only travelled here, so have never needed one. BUT, once COVID decides to die down, I'll hopefully be travelling to the UK, so will need one then. I'm not worrying about it just yet though, since I'm sure it probably won't be until like the summer of 2022 or something.

My current passport is my second one and it expires in 2027! I haven't used it though I did get a couple of stamps in my first one when I went overseas once.

I had a lot of trouble getting my passport originally because my mum's adopted and her birth certificate and passport didn't match also the information on her birth certificate is strange.

The picture is nice too I think but I'm not quite sure where my passport is right now to check....

yeah its common for a lot of Americans not to have one... America is so big in itself like so much to see.

Oh definitely. Like my state itself is like 12 hours across, haha. If I drive to Detroit from where I live, that's like 10 hours right there.

My current passport is WRECKED. Like I used as ID for years in early 20s (still do if I need tbh) and all the gold lettering has come off the front.

My current passport was left in my non-waterproof coat when it was raining heavily so it's full of water stains and not sure if I'm even able to use it like that. The photo is from when I first had a passport, I believe I was 12, so I used to go to the clubs with an ID photo of a 12 year old me. Should I be offended nobody questioned the difference?

Mine expires in 2028 so I'm going to have to wait a while for my nice BLOO passport.

I think mine expires a few years before 2030 (I think). Only stamp I have in mine is when I went to New York. Everywhere else I haven't had a stamp.

Mikey; we never got stamps inside the EU but i think they're gonna come back when the EU brings in the visa system similar to America

I got mine renewed just before Brexit if I remember correctly. I think it expires 2029

Sectional; sucks you could've waited a year for the new design

Can't say I'm bothered about a new design lol. As long as it'll still get me out the country and do it's intended job, that'll do me.

Maybe I'll be able to actually use it at some point in 2021 lol

tbh i prefer the new design obvs but it isn't as solid as the old one like the cover, but then again i dont need passport as much for ID anymore cos im getting OLD

I can't even remember the last time I got ID'd - Was probably when I went into the nightclub, but tbh that doesn't count, because they literally know me there, I used to go pretty much every weekend, the bouncers know me by name, but still ask to see my ID every week... Seems pointless but I think it's because I do look young-ish, so it stops people piping up saying "OH BUT YOU DIDN'T CHECK HIS ID, AND YOU LET HIM IN" etc...

Wonder if when these new passports come out, whether it'll confuse bouncers or not, them thinking they're a shit fake copy lmao.

tbh most places that ID nowadays seem to do it for security purposes like to scan it or just to knock people back

I can't remember the last time I was ID'd since I started growing my beard in 2018. I always carry my ID with me incase though.
