Interesting. Had it been the warmest day in years we'd of never heard the end of "global warming" from the BBC.
Anyway, family and friends have told me it is freezing back home. Meanwhile, here in southern Spain we're expecting 20 C this weekend. 8-)
What's it like in your neck of the woods?
Damn you and your Spanish weather..
Currently sitting at -1 here.. lows of -4 and highs of -1 today. Yay...
I need to move to Spain I think.. I'm already learning their language, plus I'll learn it better by actually being there lol.
But damn, I think the lowest I've EVER seen here in the UK has been like -9... Never experienced -23, that's insane for Britain

Sectional;
muy caliente hoy mi amigo
Si, esta en espana donde vives.
I'm still learning sentence construction (oprginally had it as "tu vives" but then I remembered "vives" refer to "you" as well.. tbh Idk if that makes grammatical sense, but I'm sure a Spanish person would understand me lmao.
I've always wanted to live somewhere where it's actually hot all year round, Spain is always a good option, but tbh if anything I think that won't happen until I'm close to retiring.
Just don't wanna be dealing with all this -23c weather lol

Presumably -23 was at the top of a mountain at the north peaks of Scotland but yeah it has been a very cold week, apparently 2 degrees here atm then Sunday we'll finally get some normal rain to warm things up again

Do what I did - https://www.theteflacademy.com/ - It's £250ish, you can get modules done within a couple of weeks..... the weekend course that is 2 days. Certificate, off you go. Most TEFL/ESL jobs start putting up applications in April/May. You could be over in Spain by summer easily. I have been doing it now for nearly 3 years!
Now while i'm guessing you have no mortgage, are young, not tied down..... go abroad or you'll regret when you're older.
Honestly don't think I'd be equipped to be a teacher, even in a subject like English. Heck there could be a subject about my life and I still wouldn't be able to handle it lol.
But sadly I have a mortgage anyway
I corrected someone who's mother tongue isn't English as they said something like "the brown big dog" - Obviously corrected to "the big brown dog" and they asked me why, and I just straight up errored, I crashed, I bluescreened.
