What Have You Cooked Lately?

So during lockdown and before that I made it a goal to learn to cook my own food from scratch and cut down on rubbish ready meals.

I really want to get on a bit of a health kick when gyms start to re-open and work on my fitness levels so I'm not looking for more healthy meals I can make. I love to cook stir fry's but I've not as of yet found a decent sauce or learnt to make my own yet but that's something I'm gunna work towards perfecting it.

Literally about to go do a curry, did one the other night but got a load of chicken and peppers that need to be used up :P been getting decent at curries and also been doing stirfry for lunch fairly often recently as that's quick and tastyyyyy. Does feel good to have food done from scratch, but definitely takes time - I'm slowwww at the prep too so even more than it should

I made a nice pasta that I found on Tik Tok (it was really good though, so don't judge me). I'm hoping to find more pasta recipes because LOVE PASTA.

I can only cook a fry up and macaroni cheese. As long as I know how to cook pasta I'm sorted for life to be honest.

I cooked eggs and bacon last night for dinner. Scrambled eggs with cheese yummy and not completely burnt bacon like some people eat because ew.

I had a load of chicken breast fillets to use up so I slashed the top sides of them, rubbed a load of paprika and cumin on them and into the grooves, pressed a massive load of minced garlic into them and roasted them. Near the end topped them with some flaxseed and LOTS of cheese to melt in as a coating. As usual was just made up as I went along but yummmm
