What is the best advice you were given but did not take?
There are times in life we always hear or ask for advice...:: to then do the complete opposite [emoji28] I have done this myself as well as seen it being done by others.
The best advice I was maybe given in life was not to over think and over stress... as you not only suffer once when the situation happens but you also before before thinking it is going to happen! well that hasn’t changed [emoji23]
What is yours? [emoji854]

Heh. To grow a backbone!!! It wasn't ever said in a mean way, just the situation required a backbone and I definitely did the opposite.
I have a hard head and like to learn my lessons the hard way, what can I say!

"Don't rush and make sure you are doing the right thing for you. You need to be happy before everyone else"

Probably not buying a google glass? In a more sure aspect, same as M.Jay's — I think it's way easier, in the system we live in, to sort of forget about your own necessities and boundaries in order to fulfill someone else's existential requirements as the whole idea of leisure (self-care times included) practically goes the opposite way from the basis of what we know as work, regardless of how passionate one is of it
I'm getting better tho

Being overly sensitive to the world has given me the gift of empathy and I can change the way I think in order to understand someone elses feelings. And from the wisdom I have learnt through books I love to offer help to others. It could be about anything. Relationships, stress, anxiety. I give the most suitable answer as I can but when it’s ME... then I can still understand it but I can’t do it.!!!
