Was Nicholas Reardon justified in shooting Makhia Bryant?

I'm sure you all know by now that Derek Chauvin was found guilty in the George Floyd case, but almost as soon as the verdict was delivered another fatal shooting was taking place. Makhia Bryant was attempting to stab another black girl with a knife when Officer Reardon fired four shots at Makiha, killing her instantly.

Do you think the Officer was justified in shooting her? If he hadn't shot her then another girl would have surely died, so in shooting her he saved a life
