View Full Version : Most Underrated song?
In your opinion what's one of the most underrated songs?
Can be either from a band/artist that isn't well known, or from a well established person/band, but just a not-so-popular song from them...
Leave All the Light On by A Day to Remember!
Grayscale is an underrated band with tons of great songs!
me here secretly tryna find gems with this thread...

Couple of my favourite bands are ones that I've found by accident and seemingly no-one else cares about which is annoying lol
There's a Canadian punk band called JerryCan who I really really like, found them by accident in the Limewire days because one song of theirs was always mis-tagged as being by various other punk/emo bands and when I found out it wasn't whoever I'd tried to get I looked them up because I hate only liking 1 song of someone's, I like having full albums. This is still prob my favourite song of theirs though even now

One that YOU would prob like more than that is Ben Jelen, he's a little bit like Jake Scott but can sing. Only ever did two proper albums which is annoying but there you go

The most underrated band in the universe, The Get Up Kids. Anything at all emo-y basically owes their career to this band whether they know it or not. Most of their songs are rockier than Valentine but this is very very nice to listen to and again prob more your thing than the angrier ones

Got 10 minutes to listen to a lovely lovely song? Konstantine. Something Corporate are kind of a mix of Ben Jelen and The Get Up Kids, early emo vibe but also mostly just a pretty boy at a piano. Middle class suburban white teenage angst at its very best

I think Foals as a band are generally underrated, like this for example.
It's like, I think they've surpassed the Arctic Monkeys in album quality but they haven't made it as big as them yet.

Anything by Jake Scott, duh. How is he not bigger than he is
But also I agree with Tom, I think he recommend The Get Up Kids to me a while ago, and although most of their songs are not what I normally listen to, I did enjoy quite a few of their songs, one being Valentine as he mentioned.

TWO MORE I mean I've got hundreds but I don't think you'd appreciate my Japanese horrorpunk or Finnish black metal choices so we'll stick with nice songs
All the way back from 1998, this is the video John Lewis WISH they could have made for a Christmas advert. Eels are wonderful and basically all of his songs are about his family dying but he makes them with pretty noises.

They also have a song called I Like Birds because why not

Haha I lied there are three in this post because I wasn't planning to post I Like Birds, what a fun fact
Difficult to pick just one Foxy Shazam song but let's go with another soppy one. Another great band, the singer is the bloke who drive the motorbike chariot with Macklemore in Downtown
