An alright budget so far. Though as the old saying goes, what the Chancellor gives in one hand he takes away with another.

Surprised you aren't incensed by this Budget lol. High tax, high spending. Usually, a budget like this would've had you frothing at the mouth!

"Today's freeze means the average tank of fuel will cost around £15 less per car"... Than the amount they had planned to make it, not than it costs now lol. It's like promising you'll punch a kitten and then go nah actually I'll just stroke it like a normal person, victory for all.

There was good news for theatres and museums getting tax reliefs continued, don't imagine I'll see any personal changes or benefits but keeping the places open and running is obviously pretty decent

I was pro-more spending at the last General Election, especially on large projects like the Great Britain-Ulster sea tunnel. That said, I am pretty pissed off at the pair of them for congratulating themselves on getting the economy back on track when it was they with their ridiculous lockdown which crashed the economy in the first place. No act of God.

Other things too... Foreign Aid was cut, but will go back up in 2025. So it's a mixed bag but could be worse I guess.
