Thought I would post this as my family are starting to think about some holidays in early 2022.

In the span from May 29th-June 21st, I will be in London, Birmingham, Peterborough, and Cancun!! :D

Super exciting. This will be the biggest vacation I've ever been on, and I'm super excited for it. Time has flown since I've booked it, so I know the time will fly by and I'll be on the plane in no time.

Given you're coming to Britain, I would recommend the Tower of London where you can see Jewel House where the British Crown jewels are housed. Well worth it.

Within Westminster, in half a day you can get the Tower of London, Buckingham Palace, Downing Street and Parliament Square done easily. It's all close.

Just booked my first holiday of 2022!

I'm flying to Marrakech, the Kingdom of Morocco https://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/2/2c/Flag_of_Morocco.svg/22px-Flag_of_Morocco.svg.png on 4th February to late on 6th February. Little weekend break!

Flight cost me £28 and the hotel for two nights cost £11. Can't complain about that.

My trip to Marrakesh, Morocco was cancelled by the airline with a refund.

Original plan was to open the caravan and have the full week there last week (had the week booked off since November). That got put on the backburner due to my mum's health (was due to start treatment on the 7th meaning we could still go if she was ok with it). Then sod's law we all caught covid and treatment was delayed until yesterday - we did manage to get 3 days at the caravan before she started it though and it was great. Any other holidays this year will be just the caravan, or Edinburgh if my mum's up to it as she's never been to Scotland, but she doesn't mind if we don't end up going.

So just booked another holiday

First going to Cancun in June for 2 weeks
Then going to Ibiza a week after I get back from Cancun for 4 days
Then going to Ireland in September for 3 days
Then going to Egypt in November 2 weeks

I just did Ibiza last weekend.

Cycled 30 miles in the north of the island, and partied in Ibiza town and Sant Antoni.

FINALLY did Andorra today. Cycled nearly 19 miles through valleys between huge mountains.

Andorra is my 22nd country to visit - realised in less than 8 months I have added 5 countries so not bad. Back in the game!!

Tip for Budapest.

Hire a bicycle and go along the river, there's a little beach about 40 minutes away and on your way there/back they have random parties under the bridges along the banks of the river where you can dance and have some beers. Well worth it and off the map in terms of typical tourist things.

I would really love to do that and to see some of the more cultural things, unfortunately it's a 2 day stag do with a typical stag do-ey itinerary :P

Went to Perpignan in France yesterday.

In the last year I have now been to eight countries (Spain, Portugal, Britain, France, Italy, the Vatican, Andorra, Romania). Pretty happy with that as a post-Covid recovery.

Going to Turkey (Ichmeler) on 25th August and have booked Tirana in Albania for 17th to 21st September.
