How far in advance do you buy your Christmas gifts?

Christmas is rapidly approaching and as time is FLYING I've realized perhaps I've started buying gifts too late.
I went to buy some gifts a couple hours ago and had zero luck finding what I needed and now I'm trying to figure out all my other options at the moment.

Do you wait until the last minute (is it the last minute yet) or do you buy Christmas gifts with lots of time left?
If you wait until the LAST minute, what do you actually consider the last minute?

I'm kinda last minute, but I get everything from Amazon so it's next day delivery lmao.

I try to do it super early so then I have less stress. Especially since the closer it gets to Christmas, the busier I am with work and class, and so if I shop early, I take away SOME of my stress at least. I still have a few things to get and a few cards to get, but I'm almost done! :D

I start very early just so it doesn’t seem like like I’m spending as much. Problem is though I also give them and open them very early too

One of my presents this year I bought in the first week of October as there was a risk it would sell out!!

I’ve just got a bottle of wine which I thiiiiink will be my last one this year. Undecided on whether to get something else for my mum yet!

maybe you could get her a voucher $20 is enough for anywhere she wants. but wrap it in a carboard box that way she will think its a big gift and she then opens the box and discovers its small XD
