Looks amazing.
So what have they done? The stonework has been cleaned and eroded parts replaced. The clock face itself, the original Victorian colour scheme of Prussian blue and gold has replaced the black, green and gold colour scheme. The roof has been re-leaded, and the mechanism of Big Ben (the bell) itself has been taken apart, cleaned and put back together again. A lift has also been installed in one of the ventilation shafts.
This is only the start of the works needed on the parliamentary estate. The rest of the Palace of Westminster - including both chambers of Parliament - need extensive restoration which is expected to take 10 years and needs to start soon given key systems in the building are beginning to fail due to age.
