So its almost Halloween

Do you decorate your house/garden?

I just have a few small decorations, then i go out to all the spooky places :skull:


Its not that big here in the UK, Id love to see things like this around.

We used to decorate our house, but as I've gotten older, I feel like we use less and less decorations. We do have pumpkins outside on our porch right now, not sure if we'll put anything else for the time being.

Once I get my own place, though, I am definitely going to decorate more inside. I'm used to just decorating outside.

Outside, definitely not.
Inside, I put up more decorations because HALLOWEEN. They don't get taken down sometimes until it's really close to Christmas though.

While we accommodate our lifestyle in order to fit the xmassy celebrations as it's done in places that actually know snow, Halloween haven't quite penetrated Brazil's culture as intensely, then you won't see a lot of residences that go full spooky mode during the month's end.

On the other hand though, the odds of Bolsonaro to lose this year's presidential race are so high that we'll likely invent an excuse to throw fireworks anyway

I carve a pumpkin, put candles in it and leave it on the doorstep.

I have my ghost bunting that I then turn into Christmas bunting later by blu-tacking Christmas hats onto them. There's also my unholy papal sceptre that I made last year which has just been hanging around in the sitting room ever since so that's kind of a decoration I guess. Less inclined to do anything major this year, am avoiding hosting a party because my housemate's awful girlfriend will invite herself and probably try to turn it into a rave for her druggy friends
