Hmmmm looks like the general feel of it is somewhere between Gene Wilder's version (perfection) and the Tim Burton version (pure toxic waste), so as something that's obv not the same story this could be very good overall! Not a big Timothee fan and it's a shame people are still giving Matt Lucas jobs but Hugh Grant as the ooma loompa is genius and Rowan Atkinson as a priest should be hilarious
