19th September 2005 - Massive minigame - Fight Pits

Beneath the Karamja volcano there lies a hidden city, inhabited by strange mysterious creatures known as TzHaar.
While they're normally secretive creatures they have decided, for reasons best known to themselves, to open up part of their city to outsiders. Dare you take on the might of the TzHaar Fight Pits? As with Castle Wars, players dying in the Fight Pits will not lose any items, so why not go to the Karamja volcano dungeon, find the entrance and give it a go? This new underground city includes:

2 brand new map squares featuring some of the greatest graphics ever released into the game
7 new monster types
7 new pieces of combat equipment (above rune level) from all 3 of the combat types
A bank and new shops
A new minigame, the TzHaar Fight Pit.
The TzHaar Fight Pit

Following the success of our Castle Wars update last year, we have decided to make another player versus player combat minigame. To give players more variety, this is a somewhat different formula to Castlewars, with less focus on the team tactics and more on the me versus the world style of gameplay. The objective in the pit is simple Kill or be killed. Last one standing wins. If death does not flow freely enough for your TzHaar spectators they will hurry things along, so dont spend too much time guarding your friends - eventually youll find they turn on you or face the wrath of the TzHaar.

find out u cant get higher lvl plyrs than lvl 126, the new weps have crud stats since the swords slash is +46

Omg this is doing my head! Monsters outside arena are multi combat and like I start fighting one and 5 people fights it with me -.- jesus and than they get the drop. Why can't they just make monsters so one people only fight them, grr. Otherwise, I got lost few times in there :p

They are not all 149 Scott you stupid noob, there are 103, 133 and 149 some lvl 74's and I think that's it but there is ment to be like 7 new monsters and Scott also stop calling everyone a noob your just a power hungry loser that spends 24/7 on a stupid game

You didn't get attacked because they don't start fights, and yea your right, fire bats and mega sized golems that do the same as daganoths

i started the fight some lvl 78 attked it then ran i never noticed he ran because i went to loo came bak and it was attking me so -.-
